**EDIT** I got a response, posted below.

Bare minimum I'll be confusing a GW Customer Service Rep, or giving them a chuckle... but at least it helps me vent my frustrations.
Feel free to pass this along if you have similar sentiments, just change the name:

++Transmission Begins++

Attention: High Lords of Terra

++Transmitting from - Adepta Sororitas Temple - Unknown Planet++

High Lords of Terra, I hope this transmission finds you well. I must speak to you of a matter of great import: The temple's hallowed halls are lacking these days for servants of the Holy Throne of the God Emperor - lacking in the Sisters of the Adepta Sororitas. They seem to have been forsaken in the Throne's latest endeavors - ill-equipped, outmatched, out-gunned.

The holy trinity of bolter, flame, melta still destroy the enemies of the Holy Throne, but the battlefield is wrought with new machinations of all manner of foes - Xenos Scum with terrifying weaponry, traitor marines with monstrous machinery, and daemons dancing about on new machinations - how do we contend with but only our faith? Faith should be enough and while it steels our hearts and guides us in battle, we BESEECH YOU, the High Lords of Terra: Commission the Mechanicus or release unto your humble servants some relics in which to fight these battles so that more Sisters need not be slaughtered in protection of the Holy Throne!

++Possible Heresy - Contact the Inquisition++

Metal is not enough at times, heavy and cumbersome - new lightweight materials are needed in the coming wars, in the name of Holy Terra grant to us what the other servants of the Throne use.
++Servants of Throne - Currently using Plastics++

We need back-up. We need to proper tools. We need new orders.

Please! I ask this for all servants of the Throne and all servants of the Adepta Sororitas Temples!

--
A lowly priest and servant to the Sisterhood of the Adepta Sororitas,

Spoiler:
The response I got:
""Hey there,

Thanks for writing in to us, although I don’t have great news for you. While the Adepta Sororitas will no doubt get an update of their codex and miniatures at some point in the future, at this time we don’t know when this will be. However, please be aware that the details of future releases are a closely guarded secret at Games Workshop so new content may be in the works, but we don’t have any specific information yet.

Please keep the faith that they haven’t been forgotten about and their time will come one day!

I just pictured the floodgate that would open if within a week of saying this you get the following reply:

++Transmission Begins++

Servant of the Golden Throne,

The High Lords of Most Holy Terra have decreed that no servant of the Golden Throne be left wanting. As you read this transmission you shall know that a requisition has been sent to the Lords of Mars to turn their mighty forges to the request of the Holy Ecclesiarchy. Even now, fresh scrolls of information labeled "Codex: Adepta Sororitas" are available for print for $99.99 (US) and shall be of limited quantities. New war gear and options shall also be viable for purchase in plastic hence forth at the same cost you have become accustomed to! So that you may destroy the enemies of men at less cost to you.
Furthermore, to assist in your direst of needs against the overwhelming threats from the mutant, the xenos, and the heretics we have beseech the skilled Codex author known across the land for his faultless talent of illustrating the triumph of the Adepta Sororitas to return. Matt Ward shall personally oversee that the each tale of bloodshed be written well and verily to ensure that the Adepta Sororitas is illustrated as a strong and capable warrior equal to the Adeptus Astartes.
As a servant of the Golden Throne, we understand that this news must delight you.

May the Emperor's Light forever find you

I hope they have a good laugh, and this gets emailed around HQ. Probably has a better shot at getting read by more staff than most of the mail they receive.

I can only imagine Sisters didn't sell well back in 2nd edition and/or they get more requests for a Space Marine with a new hat than they do for Sisters.

Team Fortress 2 (a PC shooter made by valve) is free to play, yet people spend literally hundreds of dollars buying new hats for their character from valve. Literally, I'm talking buying a virtual hat, and people just go nuts over them. I won't lie, I play a lot of TF2 and I've spent a decent bit on hats

Yeah, it would have shown a good sense of humour and that they appreciate our feedback. Even if it was just to tell us not to hold our breaths.

That's not a 'because'. They could have responded in kind if they had wanted to. They didn't not respond in time because they send a template email, they didn't respond in kind because they chose not to.
