Pauldrons, tilting shield and first bit of heraldry pretty done. Metals need highlighting still but that'll happen later before weathering everything.

That is beautiful, I envy anyone with freehand ability but that is a different league to most stuff you see that helmet is excellent.

If that banner is as good as those pauldrons and tilting plate, we here on Dakka are in for a real visual treat!

Fingers crossed!!! It's a lot narrower than I figured on but we'll see what we can do!! Thinking he's gonna need a big proper banner atop the carapace at some point and/or one under the barrel of the weapons.

Hoped to get loadsa paint time today. But RL decided no!! Managed to make a start on the Knights banner though. Love doing this freehand stuff. Glazes ftw

Waheey - Bottle's back!! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Finished the other side of the banner. The trident half was a pain in the arse to do. Made the helmet look easy >< Still not 100% happy with it but will leave it for the now in case I overwork it and feth it up. And I really have no idea what colour(s) to do the banner trim that will fit in with the overall scheme...... :/

Does it need a trim colour? He is a free blade after all and perhaps he has removed the trim colour as a sign he is no longer affiliated somehow?

Otherwise I would wait for the full assembly and see what sort of spot colour would look the best.

Oh and by the way it looks fantastic.

All the brasses are finally done and shaded. Everything all laid out now for next step. Stains then highlighting a

Keen to see how the weathering turns out. Never been a huge fan of it myself. Prefer the showroom fresh look. But you have done such a magnificent job so far I am sure I will be eating my words.

Cheers Archer. Aye - needs the weathering. The showroom straight off the production line has never really done it for me. Prefer to give it a little bit of history and battled apprearance. Much of the chippingis already done with masking fluid. Working on staining the metals at the mo, then a touch of verdegris and wear then onto the paintwork - sponge et al. Get there eventually The boy is really begining to come together though

Started using some nox over the coelia for the verdigris on the brass. Coming out even bettered than I hoped. Well chuffed

Taking a wee break from the knight a few other things to start on making my arch Magos. Very rough start lots of trimming and blue (yellow?) tac. But it's a start. It that damn cable roller would arrive I could start making some mechandrites!!!
