Any other Blood Angels feel their beloved Sons of Sanguinius are gonna get left behind when the new codex is released? We already don't have a lot of the stuff mainstream marines have.
If the codices continue how they have done I think marines may be upped to the power level of Necrons and Eldar leaving Blood Angels behind.

You mean the same way that everything coming immediately after the 6E Tau / Eldar books was massively overpowered?

I don't think that Blood Angels will be left behind. If the new Adeptus Astartes: Vanilla Spess Muhreens rumors are anything to go by, the new codex will only be a minor update, perhaps reworking a few units/weapons.
Blood Angels also just got updated for 7th, and have a very well-balanced codex. There are plenty of options for the creative player; just look at the list that won the LVO.
While certain Eldar units may have upped the power level at the tournament standard along with Necrons, I don't think that the new Space Marine codex will be as broken as Eldar. Both Marines and Blood Angles will still have their place in 7th edition.
Who knows, maybe Dark Angels won't get shafted again!

Left behind? Sure. Left behind to the degree of Dark Angels currently? Not a friggin chance. The lack of squadron tanks (if that becomes a thing) would hurt though. Angels can do ranks really well. Would suck if dong get 1-3 options.

I'm sure you are talking about some other tournament here?
On the other hand if you refer to the Flesh Tearers' Taxi Service, how is that well-balanced?

No. The BA codex is ok as it is now. I don't think Marines are going to get much new things or be made in the new cheese.
DA have more to worry about a gap between them and the other Marine factions.

At least the Blood Angels are not the Dark Angels.
When the DA Codex dropped, it was still out classed by the previous Space Marine codex, and it only got worse when the new codex dropped. They didn't even have a single moment in the spotlight!

Our new codex was a book of nerfs. We lost priests FnP bubble, ws5 DthCo & more. Just making our units cheaper kept us treading water. The biggest selling point for the codex now is our taxi service.
Hell yeah we're getting DA'd. Hows your DW army doing? About as well as my BAs all jump list. I dont think the new SM codex is gonna be the new eldar, but I believe it'll leave BAs in the dust. Now we all begin the "red marines " phase again.

Yes, we'll be different (still) and don't get all the new goodies. The only real qualms I have are the lack of tank formations that appear to be coming (you know you want Baal squadrons) and a lack of Grav cannons on the devs.
That being said...If you want SM, play SM. If BA aren't different, why have them as a separate codex? And if they had the best stuff out of C: SM plus additional goodies, that would just be silly.

There will probably be a C: SM equivalent to it (a mostly FA Detachment) that will make it obsolete.

I was thinking about his earlier today. IF the marines (and DA right after) see some kind of substantial increase, like vortex grenades on sergeants or crazy marine "decurion" bonuses, BA will in fact be down to fighting for the "most underpowered book" spot with Astra Millie's and chaos marines. And seeing as how we just got our 7th Ed "blanderizer" book, right before they decided to go nuts on power creep again and churn out crons skitarii and eldar, we are gonna be down there a WHILE.
You know our book is bad when you can still jump to almost the top of the blood angel ITC rankings just by placing anywhere in prize support range at an event, even after there have been dozens of events already scored.
The only thing that keeps them relevant at all right now is their "imperium's finest taxi service" detachment, which can make some sickeningly good sisters and Mechanicus lists. So pretty much codex: drop pods.

And this is just FOR NOW. Like I said, there will probably be some sort of White Scars Detachment that gives a boatload of FA slots (Drop Pods will be FA) so they can run their bike lists. Additionally, Centurions will probably be able to either choose a Drop Pod right out of the gate, or use one of those many FA drop pods to get to where they need to be. And if there is a C: SM Detachment that does get those abilities, it will be categorically better than Blood Angels in practically every way, including to ally with.

I would find it a tad unfair if the rumour of Vanguard Veterans being in Fast Attack became true (when our ones are stuffed into the cramped Elites slot), but I don't think BA's will be left in the dust by the new Vanilla book as they play (well I play them) a bit differently to other marines.
Mind you, it will be interesting to see if vanilla get heavy flamers in their tactical squads too.

Thank you. I got the 1st place (Tyranids) and 2nd place mixed up. Still, 2nd at LVO is hardly a shame for Blood Angels.
I don't think that the new Space Marine codex will be much of anything new in terms of units/wargear. Some tweaks to grav and lots of Formations/Detachments are the most likely things to come out from the new codex. Blood Angels will still have their unique place and playstyle in 40k.

It was vanilla (SoT) boltguns that made that list what it is. BA added a few distractions and pods for other distractions.
I would call it a Boltgun spam list, not a BA list.

Blood Angels were not in 2nd either. 2nd was some centurions, Lysander, and a bunch of other sentinels of terra dragging along Mephiston and a smattering of boys in red.
I don't accept a list that is ~25% Blood Angels as a "Blood Angels list." That would be the same as calling the new skitarii-hijacking- BA-pods lists also BA lists, and not say...skitarii lists.
Also a lot of people seem to miss how lucky nick got in the quarters when captainA's draigostar had all but won the game, but then self-destructed with a mishap and a 1, handing nick the win gift-wrapped after the game was all but done. Not saying nick didn't play well, but he definitely had a "hand of fate" moment there that kept him from being eliminated early in the finals.

Technically Flesh Tearers.
Still the BA codex will be the best way to get Fast Predators, Rhinos and Razorbacks

@Exergy - technically, yes, the flesh tearers formation -- but that says models from the blood angels faction there is nothing actually stopping you from playing (modeling) BA, and even calling them BA, but using the flesh tearers formation. Plus, you can use any BA HQ, like Dante or a librarian (not just Gabriel Seth), and if you wanted, you could fill the Troop with a dreadnought (Crassor).
And yeah, take any 1-6 fast attack, not just pods.
