That's a really good idea. I admit I don't remember that episode though, all I remember is Rick saving Minmay right at the start of the invasion.
It's...crap, I can't remember the episode number either. The last episode before the reconstruction episodes. Rick gets shot down, again, and gets knocked into the atmosphere, and blows his super VT parts off, then goes to the Alaska Base to check for survivors, and finds Lisa, and leaves the cannon through the barrel of the Grand Cannon, shattering the canopy on the way out. It's definitely the middle to later half of the series, and probably the most boring episode of the "final battle" of the war, not counting the Malcontent portions.

Had you seen those Nosjaedul-Ger before? I was kinda super excited when I found them this week, and here nobody seems to care about them xD
Well, here are some pics of the first Glaug. Almost ready. 3 more to go.
Still some things to do. Finishing touches on the reds, fix and glue the Glaug itself to the flying stand, seal with CdA matt varnish (for decals and also because white portions keep getting dirty with fingers...) and paint bright orange the triangles on the base.
First time ever using decals (before of RRT I played WHFB, so, no decals). Quite happy with the result
What do you think?

Thanks. Yeah, I'm thinking about doing some battle damage and weathering, but I'm kinda unexperienced. As a former WHFB player, I never painted bolt holes, stripes and scratches on flat armour surfaces xD
Neither weathering on thrusters, jetpacks, etc.
Any tutorials would be welcomed

Latest PBWU...
UPDATE: Robotech® RPG Tactics™
Juggling a lot, including what’s next for Robotech® RPG Tactics™. It is definitely not forgotten or abandoned by Palladium. Things are boiling. More in a week or two. Much more to come.
So... information coming Soon ( tm). At least it's "boiling" now.
As to their other scheduling issues, they've managed to get Heroes of Humanity in, just under the wire. So that's 1 of 8 of the "First Six Months" slate. Good job.
Of course, that doesn't stop them from promising five more in the next three months (HOH Arsenal, Haunted Tech, Disavowed, Atlanteans, and Garden of the Gods). All listed as "Summer Releases". Looks like Lopan and Hell Followed have been put into purgatory.
Anyone want to take the over on 1 book being completed? Yeah, that's a suckers bet. Anyone want to take the over on 0? That's a more reasonable line, for releases before September 23rd.
PB continue to be oblivious. It's so funny it's sad. Or so sad it's pathetic. Or so pathetic it's funny. But they keep at it. Optimistic to the point of absurdity.

The only thing boiling at PB is probably the asphalt outside the warehouse.
For a KS that made 3x the amount of money for the same number of backers as the SW Rifts KS, this thing is deader than Tut's tomb.

Indeed! Of course, the priority though is getting out wave two in 2015 2016 and posting the parts breakdown of every model... I mean doing from August last year: We will be posting the following in the weeks ahead: Actual cards for Wave Two game pieces. Force Organization Charts. Stats for Conventional Combat Vehicles (pre-Robotech). Expanded rules, errata, and clarifications. A free set of basic rules and paper miniatures will be made available online. More photos of painted minis. And we’ll try to do more updates.
...er... revised to a restart of the Robotech conversation with backers...um.. I mean the spring 2016 relaunch of Robotech Tactics!... oh feth it... bird watching! Yeah... that's the priority. I hadn't thought of it that way. We'll probably get an update in the next month advertising the limited edition exclusives (available at adepticon, Gencon, Anime North, the Detroit WHo Cares Because No One Goes Con, whenever they feel like having a sale with them multiple times a year, and the 3 months of the year when you can order a grab bag) and whatever model(s) they choose to ad to the lineup if any. They'll want to simultaneously flog their miniscule new addition as well as try to simmer down discontent before their biggest convention (GenCon).
If we're lucky, maybe we'll get the conventional rules that were supposed to come out last summer that needed a few hours of work to show their full year's worth of dedicated efforts and support for the games and the fans.

I'd like to know that too. As I can play modern games at the highest graphical settings, it might be worth getting a decent [cheap] program so I can make models when my eyes are not working well enough to paint small, fiddly, needlessly intricate, pieces of plastic.
Oh, and as to PB 'boiling', I can understand that. most people think that water boils at 100°C, but that depends on pressure. And in the rarefied atmosphere of Unicorn Farts (tm) that PB work in, I'd estimate that water boils around 20°C

Since PB has felt a decided lack of pressure and claim they are "working in a vacuum" they could possibly be working at the freezing point which then can explain the progress.
Science works!
As to the program, I was able to justify use of Solidworks from work which we have enough licenses I can use it (for now, since it is our "spare") but I will keep an eye out for something better (more consumer affordable).
A friend of mine has his own printer and I will have to ask what he is using since he keeps talking about "tweaking" people's models to print better.
My problem is, unless it is a WW2 vehicle he has little interest.

FWIW, the Heavy Gear kickstarter used that program to tweak files for plastics production but not the original sculpt designs.

"Parametric" CAD systems are used to keep dimensional relations together: more for engineering, ideal for machining a mold.
"Explicit" is more for the relation within a given feature: it is a bit more flexible for a more "organic" means of changing the model.
I tend to like my models symmetrical so systems like Solidworks works for me.
The rule of thumb for design in Solidworks is build the model like how you would "machine" it in real life.
Autodesk 123D will probably be my go-to since I do not like the idea of a program getting yanked out from under me at any point (I just know a bit more about Solidworks so that made it easy). My problem will be defining egg-shaped surfaces, I hope it will be easier than I think it will be.
I will have to ask a lot about filler (or gantries) and things when it comes to the specific tweaks to 3D printing. Automatically Appended Next Post: I know this is not the best of places to mention backing kickstarters but this 10-12mm scale terrain looks a whole lot of OK and all the extras have unlocked:

See if what they have is to your liking.
One of the updates they tried a "quick mold" so they demonstrate they can make physical product even without having the money yet.

Bless you!
I am FAR better at modification than making things from scratch!
Looks good.
I can get my friend to look at them: if he can print a Sherman Tank, he can print anything there.
Looks like "Sketchup" is the preferred.
This is getting a bit off-topic.
All I can say is this "progress" can be viewed as buying time so that IF PB actually does something, I may be playing the game enough to care.

The 3-part mold makes sense.
The fins on the back would be a nightmare done any other way.
Very nice looking.
Do the multi-colour dots represent a successful "Itano Circus" dodge?
PB REALLY should have got their butts moving on making this kind of stuff.
Does it not seem wrong to leave all the "pretty" stuff unfinished?
Well, soon my plans will come to fruition!!!
