Personally I can tell you that I've been waiting since I started 40k for plastic assassins and an Ad Mech codex. The fact that they both came out around the same time really reinvigorated me into 40k, and I've been wondering if anyone here has actually felt excited and re-energized to play 40k like I have over a recent release. Recent being any time within the last year or two... Things do kind of move kind of slowly in this hobby...

Harlequins were an instant purchase, and I'll get some AdMech at some point too. Neither as full armies, as I mostly paint these days, but there's no denying the current mini output is pretty fantastic!

Bought my first Imperial Knight the other week, and man that is a great model to build and paint. That kept me excited

Not stuff related to 40K, no.

Long ago, I adopted the adage that "hope is the first step on the road to disappointment" when it comes to 40k.

So far, I have not been proven wrong.

Um, I guess you never saw the tech priest dominus, that model is jaw-dropping.

I was very excited about Tempest from FW, and it did not dissapoint.

Yep. Very happy with that tome myself. I wouldn't say I was excited about the Admech releases but I am glad they finally exist.

A full army list for the Ordo Reductor.

I know there's something coming, and it's going to be awesome and the ordinatus may be part of it!

My biggest hope is the ordinatus' sonic weapon bypasses eldar titan holo-fields - just to make the elf's think carefully before bringing titans.

A DA codex that isn't SM Lite will get me super excited.

Yeah, me and some mates are going to team-up to run that Adeptus Mechanicus War Convocation formation from White Dwarf. That should be fun.

I'm also really excited about working on my latest CSM project. I'm curious to see what they do with the inevitable new CSM codex and hope it is an improvement!

All the Ad Mech things.

The new upgrade sprue and transfer sheet have me pretty excited about Dark Angels again. Can't wait for their new codex, might give me an excuse to get them back off the shelf!

But seriously yesterday I got myself excited about getting dark elf cold ones to use for kings of war. Having just got paid I was planning to head to my local store and grab a couple of boxes, as well as maybe some spearmen. Perfectly happy to spend $200 or so since I had some overtime last week. I almost head down there before remembering they were closed Tuesday so no sale and now the excitment of having just been paid had worn off so... Meh.

Hate the model of Centurians so when I saw that DA were getting grav weapons I got a huge grin and am now awaiting the codex. Will I be disappointing? Maybe? But I'm still kinda excited.

You'd like to think there's nowhere to go but up. As long as I don't feel like an NPC army I'll be happy. 30k has me far less worried about what's to come though. (As I'll just play more of that)

The more of these omni-formations get thrown around the more I hope the momentum is still going when it swings back to Dark Eldar.

But seriously, Harlequins were pretty cool.

Imperial Knights and AdMech: Skitarri got me excited. AdMech:Cult was a let down.

Nothing against the new C:SM, but after everything that came before and the money I've put into some 30k it's hard to get excited for something that doesn't feel necessary.

I'd get excited for CSM! With the bulky size of this new SM codex here's hoping GW gives Chaos marines some love.

I nearly lost it when I logged into Dakka after a long hiatus and saw that I had stumbled into the middle of the Admech release. I love my IG by Admech holds a very very special place in my heart and most of models are gorgeous so..... <. < >.> *squeals in delight*

Only been into 40k for about 5 months, i still get excited when I roll a 6!

I'm excited about delivery of my steel fist kickstarter pledge the imminent releade of daisho rules and the new zombicide.

I was initially really excited about Khorne Daemonkin, then disappointed, then excited again.

The Bloodthirster of Insensate Rage is one of the coolest models ever. I love the rules, as well.

Yep, excited but all non 40K, will get some new valkir miniatures soon, will buy a boardgame of a mate at the end of the month.

I just get excited for new stuff. 'Oh shiny' is too big of a pull. New codex? Yay! New army? Yay! Is it something I like? Doesn't matter, I still get excited about it. Couldn't give a toss about AdMech but I enjoyed seeing them come out, I love watching battle reports with them, am DYING to play against them but hate every single model's appearance, the rules bore me and I am uninspired by both Factions. I like the weapon designs, but that's it. And yet, I'm excited as balls to play against them.

Space Marine codex has me all excited. Leaked scans are now sitting pretty in a PDF file on my iPad and I'm excited to rewrite lists that might end up dropping all of forty points from what they were previously. But that's forty points of shiny! Keeps me happy and that's all that matters.
