There's an image of a topless pin-up on the front page right now titled "Adult Content", might want to remove it.

Is there any way of sorting things so stuff like this won't happen again? I can imagine not everyone looking at Dakka in private..

You mean in the top right advert box? Those are put there by Google IIRC, but I'm sure Dakka has some degree of control over their filters? Meh, mine's saying "install IT software" right now if that's anything to go by (hmn, I thought I turned off ads...).

Edit: Hmn, I do have ads disabled, but I'm still seeing that one in the top right. Odd. They're not even wargaming related ("Date sexy Tai women"), but I guess that's google ads for you.

Ah right, there's a few images like that in the gallery. Hmn, I suppose there could be a tag to images as you upload them for adult content, but then that would be a bit obtuse. However the front page isn't exactly in your face when you access the site, rather you could access the forum directly and ignore it entirely. That and the image is about as offensive as a painting you'd see in an art gallery, or are people really so up tight as to be offended by a little picture like that?

Hmn, though my point stands about seeing adverts even though I have them turned off however. Weird, be interested in how that could be fixed. Damn, threadjacking now. =/

I posted on this once before. The answer then was to message a moderator, as they can keep NSFW images from showing up on the main page. Not sure if that is still the best course of action.

I'd also add a NSFW tag to in case something gets implemented to filter those.

It is for the time being. There are some automated processes in place that filter content for the front page but it does rely on the image in question being tagged appropriately. Occasionally, stuff slips through that shouldn't be there. The quickest way is to PM a Mod as they have tools to remove content from the front page.
