Mine is continuing nicely - skin and teeth done, clothing mostly done, just weapons, armour, additional parts, decoration... OK maybe 'continuing nicely' is an overstatement.
Mine's not just bare metal any more.
P.s. he was already on a Gorkamorka base, but you can just snap/snip that off when he arrives, it won't be painted/finished at all.

Many thanks Paradigm, I had to do it once I saw the strap layout on his back!
I added three greenstuff straps, became fustrated trying to paint freehand red/white stripes, tried again another couple of times, then eventually got it to the point i am happy with.
My dude is getting there as well, I'll post pictures once I get a wash on the skin. At the moment I am focussing on some DAdevs.
Shipping cost reimbursement:
I've managed to stuff up my paypal account, which has meant that I haven't paid anyone for their shipping yet (so far, it is only Paradigm on the list of people that need to be paid.) It's happening, it's just slow. I am sorry for the delays, I was hoping to have it sorted last week, but that's shifted to this week due to other issues (uni).

My own ork boy has received a few light modifications and a black undercoat and has well and truely bunked the que ahead of hundreds of goblins to be next in line for painting. It'll be nowhere near as jaw- dropping as the warboss (which is as it should be I suppose) but I'll do my utmost to at least still hold my own with some level of pride. I'll upload a pic of him (beside our local landmark cause I love that idea) when he's presentable.
Ireland 2!!!!!!!!
( I may live in Korea atm but I'm from Ireland)
Automatically Appended Next Post: And finally got some decent photos taken. His skin has come out a touch more yellowy in the photos than it really is. nvm. Havent really thought of a name for him .....i just keep calling him Boss Der Snikt. Feels weird not doing a base for him lol. Hope you like him KB. I'll try and get him into the post to you by wednesday

Yep - limited edition Gorkamorka Nob from UK Games Day... '98 maybe?
The plastic Gorkamorka lozenge base did not survive being separated from the painting cork, so I've packaged him with a spare round slottabase (unattached).
The yellow was a big departure for me from my usual pallette of black red white and occasional grey. Turns out all my yellows have that age-old problem of offering about 2% coverage, so needed a literal 15 coats brushed (over white!) to get a semi-even basecoat. I'm quite happy with how it came out, though I keep thinking about deeper shades on the plate edges of the gun.

They yellow looks nice and clean. I swear I have washes that cover better then the yellow “paint”. Props to anyone who can make it look good.

Glad you like him; he was fun to do, esp the painted but then weathered metal plates - the check one and the red one. may need to pick up some more orks at some point.
