You might be thinking it... Yes, this is my 2nd GT this month. I figured I would go ahead and post my list while I am having some issues getting all of my pictures and videos uploaded from the BAO. I'm actually mixing it up in this event. This will be my third combo in as many events. The only constant is Eldar being apart of the list in some way or another.

Combined Arms Eldar:

Skyrunner Farseer (Takes Fate or Telepathy)

3 Windrider jetbikes
3 Windrider jetbikes
3 Scatbikes
3 Scatbikes
3 Scatbikes

6 Warp Spiders W/ Exarch
6 Warp Spiders W/ Exarch

Wraithknight 2x Destroyer Cannon; 1 Scatter Laser


Allied Detachment:

Commissar Yarrick
Ministorum Priest
Primaris Psyker LvL 2 (Takes Divination in most games)
Primaris Psyker LvL 1 (Takes either Daemonology and most likely suicides his way to happiness)


Platoon Command Squad
Infantry Platoon with Melta Bombs x 5

2x Wyvern


Inquisitorial Detachment:

Coteaz (Takes divination or sanctic)

Alright before you call me crazy at least let me inform you why I am crazy. I tend to do stupid from time to time and this may be one of them. A friend on facebook was trash talking guard blobs recently. With IG being the original army that took me into competitive play I could not let this insult go unanswered . So I have decided to run a ridiculous guard blob and try and prove the heretic wrong... could they get eaten in one turn by a few combat stars.... most likely! Will I miss my intercepting Tau... without a doubt! Will I have a gak eating grin on my face if I pull off the win with this army.... well only time will tell .

I'm not feeling Coteaz here. Instead, assuming you have the models, here's a suggestion. Drop Coteaz. Drop some gear. Then run the Aspect Host formation with either 2x6 Warp Spiders and 1x6 Swooping Hawks with Exarch. Either that or 3x6 Warp Spiders. I think you may do better with that.

I believe the event is a 64 man tournament has only one ticket remaining.
Coteaz brings a couple of things to the list:
2 more warp charges
Unlimited interceptor within 12"
Reroll to seize or rolls to seize on me
Another.combat threat in the blob
Preferred enemy daemons for the blob

While I am a huge fan of Coteaz. and I don't know if you could find the points for it here or not but what about Azhra Redth?

The chapter provides a reroll seize, he offers intercept (could be paired with either the wyverns or the blob and more importantly, could provide the blob with Azhra's Mirage, a decent cover save + disordered charge protection for your blob?

Just a newb tossing out an idea to the big dogs.

I'm hoping you don't go 6-0, cause that would mean I lost somewhere. :p

He already has a CAD. He's also got an Allied detachment. There is just no space for another CAD-like detachment. Inquisition detachment is different in that it is neither a CAD or an ally. It also does not need to take a troop choice as well.

I should have specified. I understood the requirements of the detachments/formations. I was just offering a suggestion of a support IC to better support his guard blob.

If considered a viable possibility it would require some serious reconstruction of the list.

His interceptor would be only for a unit he ccould join... That is actually slightly worse then coteaz power to intercept multiple units that come in within 12". The mirage power is nice though.

I could of fit the detachment into my list but I would have serious model issues... The easy part about using coteaz is that I already have a professionally painted coteaz model !



Well the event is tomorrow.... we will see how I hold up... bringing some daemons to summon... just for shiz and giggles!

We got to talk briefly before I left for the day but we play in round 4 tomorrow!
