So my model is pretty much done, I managed to make a decent dent in things recently.I pretty much just have the base to finish and a few little things here and there.

I am still undecided on whether or not I am going to weather the priest into the base a bit more, or if I will keep him a bit more fresh than base. But we will see.

Anyway onto pics:

Front on:

I thought I would get fancy and do some brush based OSL on the Volkite Blaster and see how it came out (I'm pretty happy with it).

You painted the liquid on those vials! I love it.

And I'm in Dublin's airport so if the flight isn't slowed again tomorrow I will be able to start something : )

That's really nice Winter, I like the subtle OSL. Really don't the look of Lighting effects when they go over board.

Have started to paint Metallic red on my entry and well. . . it looks like it ate Iron Man and gained his powers.

Hopefully some washes will fix this.

I didn't know Jarvis was a trex.

Just kidding of course. Some washes would help.

Thanks guys, much appreciated. The bubbly liquids didn't come out the exact way that I wanted them but it's not like they are terrible.

@inflatable love badger, I entirely agree man, the current trend in over the top OSL is ridiculous. To me its more a sign of laziness than skill.

This is where I am up to with the base now:

Just a quick request for those of you doing Warmachine stuff, can you please post the full name of the model with your finished pics? As a non-WM player, all these big stomy things look the same to me!

Thanks!

Hey paradigm! Next month we should have orks as our theme.

INSANE army lists still available!!!! Now being written in 8th edition format! I have Index Imperium 1, Index Imperium 2, Index Xenos 2, Codex Orks Codex Tyranids, Codex Blood Angels and Codex Space Marines!
PM me for an INSANE (100K+ points) if you desire.

Maybe something like Brutal or Fatality. Those work for orks.

Orks would be great I still have some in my pocket but isn't it "unfair" to those who do not do orks?

I would like to do some kind of magic - I think it was second in last months poll. I got a good idea of an ork-psycher.

Something like: It's got legs, tracks or wings would have a lot of options, I think.

I think a specific race is too limiting to those who don't own or like them. There's not yet been a month where folk haven't entered orks.

I like our open briefs.

Yeah, this is why I'm not planning any model/faction/game-specific rounds, they're just too specific. The first round was Space Marines purely to keep things simple as we started out, but since then there's been such a range of stuff entered and I don't want to limit that any more than than i have to.

Let's be honest, if there's one army that could fit almost any challenge theme, it's Orks/Orcs!

I've got so many random things on my desk and shelves I don't even care what we roll, I'm not sure I'll bother to vote

Still trying to get these bots cleaned up, if I have the time I don't have the enthusiasm, and vice versa...

Oooh, I could do that one in spades It's almost unfair to people who are just getting into the hobby though.
