Who in your opinion is the best Psyker in the game?
If this has already been discussed before (it probably has...), please post a link to the thread.

Either a Daemon Prince or Hive Tyrant or whatever that Tyranid big-bug psker is. Simply because they are survivable and have access to a wide variety of disciplines available.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

That would really depend on the list type you were running or your magic table that you want to use.

For most lists it's probably going to be fate weaver or gk bog standard librarian in terms of raw magic spell options, power dice supply, and statline. But if your wanting someone more mobile than a spiritseer is probably what is the best.

I'd probably rank them like this in terms of general purpose use:

Fate weaver
Spirit seer
Tigirius
Bel akor
Most eldar Magic users
Chaos daemon Prince
Ezekiel/ terminator librarian/ Mephiston
Brother captains/ masters/draigo
Most gk units/ inquisitors
Njal storm caller
neurothrope
Chaos sorcerer/chaos daemons
venomthrope
Ba librarian dread
Generic marine librarian/rune priests
Imperial guard psykers
Lesser chaos daemons/ tyranid bio morphs that happen to have magic
Weird boy

admech army: 600pts
ravenguard: 565 pts

Oh yes. The Tyrant her massive selection of only the codex powers... Though, half of them are very good. But that's still not access to disciplines. Tyranids get their strength from how many psykers are commonly available.

Belakor takes top slot, having all of Telepathy on a Winged platform that can hold its own is a huge bonus.

The Red Scorpion Librarian, Severin Loth I think his name is, and Tigurius are not far behind. Both have the ability to plan their psychic talents to a reasonable degree. Most other psykers are a crapshoot on how useful they are.

Do you mean a farseer? Farseers are level 3 with access to an eldar jetbike and have 4 disciplines to choose from, spiritseers on the other hand are level 2 with 3 disciplines to choose from and are always on foot.

I may be off topic, but I think that Tigurius from Librarius Conclave is in fact the strongest psycher in the game.

Depends if you mean solely on their psychic ability or the unit's ability as a whole. Similarly do you mean absolute power or most powerful for their points.

Best unit Flyant's would be in with a shout as their psychic ability is decent but they are very powerful overall with their shooting and being a FMC.

Best per points it's hard to look past Tigurius (especially in a Conclave) and a Farseer on a bike with the Spirit Stone.

To qualify that, it would be Lorgar with his buffed psychic abilities. Basic Lorgar, no.

If you spoke to my mates I think most would say mephiston, when in a squad to optimise his biomancy prowess he's a beast and I regularly abuse him.
Imo I'd have to say Be'lakor or loth, both make me make a sigh when people announce there lists. Tig is also a bit of a bastard but mainly because he's a smurf

Obviously a little more context is needed but my vote is for Tigurius.

His synergy with the librarius conclave in addition to his consistency in getting powers is extremely powerful.

His state line is respectable as is his points cost. With his warlord trait being fantastic.

hey what time is it?

Now that I think about it, I think the most powerful psyker is always the one used against you, and never the one you use yourself.

And it's funny that the usual suspects are the ones that can reliably get the powers they want, when it wasn't that long ago when nearly all psykers could choose their own powers.

Point for point I have to give it to the basic farseer. Cheap as chips, lvl 3, can re-roll failed dice, can kick off perils. All stock. Stupid good.

I think a lot of people don't recognize how awesome Fatey is as a psyker.

ML4, so he has only a handful of competition with mastery level.
Knows all The Tzeentch spells, so that is 4 spells of varying usefulness.
He has 2 heads, each knows 3 spells.
Head A: Pyromancy, Divination, Daemonology
Head B: Telepathy, Biomancy, Daemonology

Fateweaver is also a master of fate, knowing what the future holds, re-rolling a single dice each turn. Then a really useful warlord trait on top of it.

Top that all off with being an FMC, while hilariously bad in CC, he is BS6 for one of the higher ballistic skills on a psyker.

Lastly, fateweaver is LD+3 when manifesting powers, but that is now useless.

Don't forget that Farseers have the ability to re-roll any single cast or deny power once a turn. They cost the same on a bike as a ML3 GK libby, but are far more mobile.

The 2++ ability doesn't work RAW, since you have no psychic dice at the start of your turn.

That, and the Red Scorpions chapter tactics largely suck compared to the good ones in the codex.
