In your opinion and with reasoning, what is your favourite 30k/40k FW kit? I am curious as to people's opinions of what they think the model/kit with the most wow-factor, coolest looking, most detailed, most characterful or best value (ha) is. The best kit you have bought, or if you were only to ever buy one model to finish your collection what would it be? Obvious choice is the Warlord but one mortgage is enough for me... I was personally amazed at how huge the Phantom Titan is after seeing it in the FW shop, I expect it to match a Reaver in size, not a Warlord.

They are exactly like Possessed, except their rules don't suck and their models certainly don't suck.

So they are nice representations of the GW - FW relationship, in one unit.

Actually, almost all of the Primarchs are beyond great.

Manta, no doubt.

It literally has a cargo bay holding its entire passenger list modeled out, that includes a few tanks parking inside.

I have never bought anything from FW, but I rather like the Gargantuan squiggoth model. And a few more too.

The Elysian Drop Troopers range, if only because they are incredibly finely detailed models, with a broad range models that actually includes soldiers that aren't carrying a weapon!

I love the way the whole range fits together, and the complete method warfare it describes.

I loved the Space Marine Version, then was excited when it came out as a metal 40k kit, then it got updated in epic 40k and the finally Forge World made one.

I don't know about for every faction, but for Chaos it's a toss up between the Sicaran Battle Tank and the Fire Raptor.

Never before has one model done so much to address the problems of a bad codex.

I have seen lists fielding 3 Sicarans or 2 Fire Raptors in 1200 point games. they give you the best shot at tabling an opponent with the current Codex.
