I'm hoping someone can take a pic of a Mantic US Soldier from Mars Attacks next to either an Eldar Guardian or Imperial Guardsmen.

I'm looking for cheap plastic figures for an RPG game and the Mantics are perfect, but I don't want the scale too be too much off.

That being said, my alternative are Bolt Action WW2 guys, and the tiny weapons are problematic....

You're gonna be looking at similar height but slimmer truescaleier proportions.

Here is a picture I took that includes a Mantic US Soldier and a Space Marine. The Mantic US Soldier actually looks to be in scale with the Sedition Wars Samaritan in real life.

Here's some cadians and dark eldar. Height is very similar but they're much thinner in proportion.

As I said, I'm doing a Sci Fi RPG game, and I want to use plastic figures because of the wear and tear that will happen.

The game will have 4 sentient races, humans, space elves, dwarves and orks. The latter three have very generic plastic figures I can use from both GW and Mantic...its the human figures I'm having trouble with.

No one does modern plastics, and as far as I know only GW, WGF,Dreamforge and Mantic do futuristic humans. WGF and Dreamforge are out because their stuff is not the right look. GW IG is also too identifiable as GW, and as for Mantic, it was either their Mars Attacks US or Warpath Corporation. The problem with the Corporation figures are...I don't get how their helmets work. It throws off the look of the figure....it's a helmet with glass protection, or some kind of solid face shield....

I thought about using Bolt Action ww2 figures, but they are alot smaller than GW scale.

So now I just have to decide...

Em4 and Proxie Models both have plastic human sci fi figures, and they're cheap.

I looked at those, not the look I want, but thanks!

Yes. That is one of the Proxie minis, with the robo head and space gun. The detail is a bit washed out on him, but it also isn't as crisp or deep as on the other minis. Still, the visor heads, machine guns and flamethrowers make them a great COBRA-style mook squad in my opinion. My Plog probably has some pics somewhere.
