I'm most of the way through painting a unit of warriors. And I've got a CCB as well. But this necron army is going to be one I'll make for the hell of it, and not care how well it does. So, on that basis, what would you be tempted by if you were looking to buy things that just look nice?

I'm a fan of the deathmarks, spiders, scarabs, that teseract vault, and the spider platform walker too.

warhammer 40k mmo. If I can drive an ork trukk into the back of a space marine dread and explode in a fireball of epic, I can die happy!

Honestly, a competitive Necron list. Just less of it. A pair of Wraiths, a Spider, atleast two Destroyers and two Heavy versions with a Destroyer Lord, 20 Warriors and that Ark ship, a Catacomb Command Barge, Tomb Blades and that Stalker thing. Maybe a Monolith for the background. A competitive Necron list has the bonus of just looking really cool all painted up. I'm a fan of nearly all of their models. Might end up being my next army after I get Orks to a good level.

New necron lord, 2 squads of immortals 1 with blasters 1 with tesla, wraiths, 1 each of the ctan, destroyer cult, flayed ones (new and old), convert a flayed lord if you have patience (unfortunately I don't, hope they release a model for it one day....), monolith and an obelisk. I would take the obelisk over a tesseract vault because they cooler a massive floating monolith!!! And you get a 3rd ctan out of it too....

I adore both, frankly. The Stalker I mentioned, on the other hand, is the Forge World kit.
