Heh, there's something really beautiful graphically about where you placed the snow on the bases. I know it's silly, but I can't stop looking at it it's my favorite part of some beautifully painted models.

"Orkses never lost a battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!"

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

Oh thank you, those bases will get finished with some ice hanging over the rocky edges (by using a candle and a flying stand), so the snow is actually placed with that future addition in mind as well.

And thanks all for the kind words!

It's a mix of mostly PVA with sodium bicarb salt in it (some use baking powder, but that can turn yellow over time.. so I use the pure salt without starch in it), a bit of water and white paint added into it. It gets nice and goopy, allowing you to stack it on rather thickly.

Morghot, che miniature belle!

I really think the new Orruk brutes are great figures. I would really like to see them painted with bronze armor and red clothing. Has anybody seen any like that?

Thanks guys! Unfortunately this brutes are only 4 because the fifth miss some part armor after a conversion, need some bits to re-complete it. The next in list are the gore gruntes (i will buy them in next weeks )

I've just figured out a cheap way to maximize my black knight box a bit.

I still have a ton of leftover 40k cultists from the starter box... So I decided to cut them in half and glue their legs to the torsos of hexwraith knights.

Guess it's a cheap way to add some cairn wraiths to your force. The legs do look a bit bulky, but not too horrible. So yeah... cheap way to max out a box.

Should anybody know of a better set of legs to pair with these torsos, feel free to share...

Finished my slaanesh chosen with greataxes and mirrorshield bearers.
Sigvald's followers know that people often get stabbed for offending the geld prince with their ugliness, therefore I only used helmeted heads so that they do not risk being deemed imperfect and therefore killed.

Here is my guy for Silver Tower. Now what kind of base should I put him on? By that I don't mean the size but what is fitting for the Gaunt Summoner? Not familiar with him or the lore so I don't want to just put in sand and paint over it.

Nice job there. I still have one of those to put together as well. Silver Tower took me off it.
