I gotta say, these were a pain in the ass to put together. They might be multi-part but they weren't multi-choice.

I'm worried that I should have made them as Wraithmongers too. Only time will tell.

I've settled on this paint scheme for my Tzeentch Arcanites force. It doesn't look too hard to achieve and it should look pretty nice!

Next up, is the Lord Veritant and Lord Castellant of my Stormcast Eternals force. I've only started painting the Veritant so far, but I think the Castellant should look pretty nice when done . I have a growing pack of gryph hounds for this lot now too. When (if) I've finished my Stormcast backlog, I think I'll pick the pack of 6 up that's just come out.

Some pretty fantastic sculpts in the Stormcast range lately.

I've ordered the new Battletome and plan on picking up the scouts, grif-hounds, cavalry and mounted lord for my Stormcast. I've already got the starter box painted the traditional gold & blue as one force.

While I'm saving up to buy all the cool new stuff I'm working on a second starter worth of stuff I traded into. Looking at making them Sons of Medusa color scheme. Here's my first (I'm tabletop quality painter so this meets my needs).

The Sons of Medusa is a Warhammer 40k Space Marine's Chapter:

Spoiler:

There are many SM Chapter's color schemes I think that'd look great on Stormcast.

In the Warp, getting trolled by Tactical_Spam, AKA TZEENTCH INCARNATE

I've been jumping from project to project in the past few weeks, so much in fact that I haven't been able to take a single picture of any of them yet!

However, tonight I managed to find enough courage to pick up a brush again, and found a certain unfinished Chaos Lord calling to me, one who most certainly likes being in the picture, so to speak...

Behold, the signs of progress!

PiP #1 (or, in other words, where we last left off):

And PiP #2:

He's still not finished (yet!), but he's come a long way since last time, hasn't he?

Good job there Ezra. How did you get the skin so bright? I always paint skin too dark, or very ugly. Would like to see how you did it.

Thanks! and Oh, they'll still be pretty green, but i got more layers to do. And i want the weapons to be a rusty coppery color, and it didn't show up in the picture but i'm giving them blue eyes. because the whole "evil dudes always have red eyes" gets a bit dull after a while.

Well and also they're not evil, they're friends, friends to all, sharing their wonderful gifts as friends do.

Thank you! As for the skin, I simply followed the painting guide for the Slaughterpriest from september's White Dwarf, which went as follows:

Bugman's Glow -> Cadian Fleshtone -> wash: Reikland Fleshshade -> Kislev Flesh

I'm always hesitant to put the Kislev Flesh on, as it looks a lot brighter than the previous layers, but it always works out fine in the end

Well, I don't have cool models to show yet, but considering how I've been loving this thread I wanted to share the love.

I am a VERY recent AoS player, mostly because of a friend who decided he wanted to try it out. Welp, this is the start of my AoS adventure!

You need to get yourself a Maw Krusha, DraconicLord, an absolutely amazing model (probably in my top 3 for last year).

Well, kinda. I'm using the Ironjawz as a way to challenge myself: Everything I paint, I paint very slowly. I want to "break" this bad habit. (I also very rarely do wear and tear)

I'm thinking of going "Sky-bashas" (so I can use the leadbelcher spray to take care of a LOT of basecoating) with some differences, like not painting the weapons red, but certain pieces of armor. They won't be "pure" Sky-bashas.

Yes! I positively LOVE the Cabbage!! (... yeah, I fondly call it that ) I will definitely get one later on

Haha, I had no idea this was the "official nick-name" I guess it looks like one to a lot of players! I'll have to check that TGA forum too!

Well, I have finished my first Ardboy, the test model. I spent way more than I should, but damn it, I LOVE IT! He was so damn fun to paint and I love the final result ! He's a freakin' big, menacing deadly lump of steel!

It's sweet looking. As long as you don't take an hour per model like me (then again I usually spend half the time trying to remember which combination of colors I used for my byzantine mess.).

No, it took me longer. Much longer, I admit. I have a damn problem when it comes to paint, and actually taking as long as it did for this one was already a huge victory for me. I'm hoping now that I've fully decided the color scheme, I'll be able to finish them faster and faster.

Man, I have the exact same problem. I say one hour per model, this is NOW that I've figured out the colour scheme I want (and it's just because I decided that I'd paint each mob on a different colour scheme as to represent their differences).
