I think it's designed for putting something like a skull under that front foot (most of their other models come on scenic bases).

Just ordered the battlesuits to add to my Tau, should have them at the end of the month.

I really like these take on the guardsmen, might have to add them to the wishlist (along with the Tau hovercycles already on the list).

I've already bought several of their Tau characters, and I'm really impressed with the quality, though it makes me self-conscious about my skills to paint them up.

I'd like to see a fully tracked version of those cars myself.

I'd like to see either a Tauros (not a venator) or Imperial Guard bikers (to be as rough riders maybe?). There's a gap in the market for them.

I think Victoria miniatures is making horses to go with their 'mounted legs' option.

I'm not a fan of WGE models, but that command squad is actually very nice! The medic in particular is cool.

Apparently they're called Dead Dogs. Individual models are 10~14 EUR a pop.

Aye I'll need to see the actual models for these - at first glance the detailing looks too "deep" and chunky, but it often looks that way on renders while the final model looks great. If that's the case and the scale is right...

Wow great quality here! But how come these aren't sued and dismissed by GW? "Greater good", "heresy hunters", don't evne have to guess! And the designs, boltguns, space marines...

Some of these models look like perfect fit for Necromunda, Rogue Doc and Bounty Hunters.

Because they're from Russia where copyright law isn't what it is in much of the world, and the names are *just* different enough to avoid any branded words.

It really hard to pursue IP infringement in certain countries. Russia Poland and Asia really being the hardest to stop. In China they don't even bother to rename stuff or make their own. They just straight up recast it.

Also, GW's ownership of the IP they claim is often less clear-cut than they'd like to imagine.
In that Chapterhouse debacle I seem to remember GW trying to chase after old employees trying to get them to retroactively sign over certain rights.
A lot of the concepts are decades old, from the days of Rogue trader and 2nd edition, and employment situations and contracts weren't always clear, even if the paperwork still exist.

Yup, and arguably most of what GW does falls under Design Rights in the UK not copyright, meaning most of the WHF and 40K IP - in terms of the visual aesthetics of the factions - should be pretty much a free for all anyway.

Probably should take this conversation to its own thread.

There was mention made before that these guys actually communicate regularly with GW.

If that's true or not, I can't say, but in my perfect little world these 3rd party companies would continue to make things similar, yet different.

Like how toys used to say "Plays with He-Man!" on their packages when I was a little one.

Oh Damn, will have to see how the actual models turn out before I take the dive. Very tempting to use them for "Veteran" Sisters or BSS Sargents.

They look nice, except for the cheesecake cleavage gap instead of full armor on the torso.

You could probably get away with painting it an armor/leather color. It's definitely intended to be skin what with Wargame Exclusive being Wargame Exclusive and I agree it's pretty silly.
