If i want to paint the gorkonaut the yellow color as shown in book do i prime white and black?

Is it wise to put a big mek with KFF and fixer uppers in it can i add any other meks in without using another unit of burnas ?

What's left of Cadia

The Yellow is just the color of the Bad Moonz Clan (sort of the ork poster boys in that codex).

As for the color, it depends on how bright you want the yellow to be. A white primer would probably result in a brighter yellow, but I've never had much success with white primer, so your move.

A Mek/Big Mek inside it with that relic would certainly help to keep it alive, the easiest way to get a bunch of meks is to purchase a unit of lootas or burnas and upgrade a bunch of them to be meks. Throw them and the Big Mek inside the naut, and spam repair rolls.

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."

Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

I wouldn't worry about the meks to be honest. I love both the gork and morkanaut but only once have I had it die from losing hull points. They always explode to meltabombs meltabombs, guns or smash attacks. I don't get to have aNY chance at repairs anyway. Just use the points for more useful choices

To prime it, cheat by priming it black, then applying the white spray in a light coat from certain angles. this will give you easy shading of the Yellow on the large surfaces.

Dont bother with the KFF Mek unless you have something else there to protect.

Thanks for the links. I want to go for the brighter yellow i guess wash it with reikland fleshshade

Anyone else have experience with hull point loss? I was going to put a big mek with his mek tools and the fixer uppers so 3+ and 5+ repair with maybe grot riggers thrown in

I'd treat a Gorkanaut as expendable-ish. If I was going to spend points, armour plates are probably more critical to keep you moving (you can't afford to be stunned).

somewhere in the webway

For yellow i base white, then apply the yellowish base paint. Averland I think. Then it's a 50/50 blend with the darkish yellow, and averlqnd, a 100 layer of the darkish yellow (Uriel?) then a 50/50 of Uriel and sunset or the brighter one. Final a 100 of the brightest yellow highlighted with he dorn edge.

Keep layers really watery. And allow lots of drying time.
