Morikun, that is looking so amazing! Question for you, where did you get the mold you're making your eggs from? It looks awesome and I would love to add some to my bases as well. On a positive note, I recieved my ball end tools yesterday and have started on the bases for the queen and pretorian. So far so good, I think its finally time to bust out the gloss coat! I've got some slimy infestations going on!

Got my partial pledge last week

So I couldn't wait to paint my AVP Aliens (been waiting over 2 years after all).

Here's my test paintjob for the Xenomorph

Really simple letting the beautiful mini do the work, just drybrushed, washed and the done painted in gloss varnish.

I went for metal claws to match the teeth, but I'm not sure this is movie accurate (my Google fu showed both)

What do you reckon metal or black claws?

Fantastico!

Really nice job Joe love the gloss effect, neat hazard stripes on the base as well may need to steal that idea!

Morikun think you are really channelling the spirit of HR Giger with some of your stuff, that chest burster is disgusting!

But looks just right, looking forward to seeing the secret project. Maybe hide Jonesy the cat in amongst that terrain?

Well, I'm very very honoured by your kind words but I know my painting level and I know that I'm not so good you say

My paintjob is not difficult (drybrushes + ink + gloss varnish) and that's why I post my "step by step sessions" in my Temple to show it.

Last but not least : some friends of mine are many much more awesome than me ^^'

I hope my secret project will please you !!

Managed the get my second Xeno painted this week.

Decided to go with gun metal claws instead of the silver in the last one.

I did try black gloss claws like the head but it didn't work for me.

Now to clean the rest of my pledge ( was too excited to clean the 2 I've done so far and some of the paint did flake on thie second one)

Suffer not the "Alien"......
