That Predator is fantastic Morikun!

Some new stuff from my painting bench:

Modified Pendraken Facehuggers (painted for a friend in his colour scheme)

Alien Warrior (also for the same friend, mostly painted by him with a few highlights by me)

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Great work on the conversion Ktulhut - that's some pretty neat GS work right there on the neck.

And nice to see an alien in a variant colour, works very well!

Was actually waiting to see someone do an 'alien war' (as in the old comic book), might be kind of cool to set something like that up

Wow !! O_O

Your job is awesome my Dear Ktulhut !!

The albinos alien is an excellent idea indeed !!

And the "bone alien" too (the base is a personnal job or official ?)

Your converted alien is perfect !! How did you do that ? Is there any steel stuff or only greenstuff ??

Congratulations, it's very great ^^

The tail of the converted Alien is an old Rackham piece, from their "scorpion" line.

By Bone Alien, do you mean the brown one? It's heavily inspired by Alien: Resurrection, with a touch of The Flood (Halo). That one is on a Fenris "Ark" base.

Your last Yautja has made a very good hunt !!

Let me show you all too some pics ^^

A friend of mine has written a little Skirmish SF Rulebook : Generation War 2184 (yes, we can say "GW 2184" ^^) in which we can play with any minis of ours (about 10 models and I've re-used my Infinity Japanese Sectorial Army ^^).

He asked for some pics in the view of a future campaign dealing with a xenomorph... I took it in my new jungle table ^^ :

As always, more pics in my Temple ^^

I hope you like it !

NECA CineMachines stuff arrived today. Probably a bit small for the AvP figures, but still very usable, esp. the Space Jockey.

Scale of the APC (going by the full size APC dimensions on the back of the box) is 1/54 scale. Length with the turret up is 6.25". Tires scale to 62.5" tall.
Somewhere I have a MicroMachines APC which is about the same size, but I need the find it to measure it for sure.

Space Jockey appears to be a multi part resin piece while the APC is diecast and plastic.

APC is shown on a 1/8" piece of plastic to match the thickness of the figure bases.

Thanks for posting up the pics of the apc. Saw a while back that one was coming out and wondered about the size, now have one on order.
Already looking to add stuff for the marines, have had the boxed game for a few months but only this weekend have I got the first ten aliens cleaned up and undercoated due mainly to the work you guys have all put up on here.
The kick up the backside I needed to get moving lol

I feel it's very un-finished. There's a very good, tense game in there somewhere but it will take real effort to tease it out of the messy state it's in right now.

How's the quality on the human figures? I'd like to get some of the Weyland Yutani troops, but I can't quite pull the trigger yet. Has anyone painted any of them yet? How do they scale compared to Infinity or the WGF Survivors?

I may have found the perfect pictures for you - asides from no scale shots that is - (and anyone else who wants to see amazingly painted AvP figures)...

Credit where due... these are by the amazing talent that is BulldogUK, who sadly only posts over on the Forum of Doom it seems

Cheers for posting those Ruglud!

Wow.. that has totally sold me on the Corporation troopers.

Love the space jockey mini! That thing still sends a shiver down my back when I see it, even if they have somewhat been de-mystified by the Prometheus film.

Do you guys think they _need_ to be on 30mm bases or would 25mm non-lipped ones suffice?

You might struggle to fit a few of the aliens (and definitely the Preds) on a 25mm.

As for the marines I don't think it matters? The gameplay is based on tile movements so doesn't matter really what they are on I would say.

Thanks! Not worried about the gameplay, but specifically using the Secret Weapon bases that are only available on the non-lipped bases. Alien Invasion and Steel Invasion and Urban Invasion sets.

The corporate guys do look good. Thanks for posting the pic. Now, if someone could just post a size comparison of any of the humans against an Infinity figure.

I based my aliens on regular 25 without problems. Pics near the top of page two in this thread.
Predators went on regular style 30mm bases.

Humans will go on 25s just fine, the Stalker Aliens will fit with some overhang. The Infant Warriors have a few models that are too wide in their stride for 25mm, and the Adult Warriors have two poses that will not fit on 25mm (they don't even fit properly on 30mm). Predators are minimum 30mm, look much better on 40mm though. Round lip/beveled edge is irrelevant.

They're amazing. Haven't gotten any mercenaries yet but the marines paint up like a dream. Comparable proportions to taller Infinity figures, however WGF Survivors are true 25mm while these are 32mm.

So would you say 25's for USCM, 32's for the average Xeno, and 40's for Predators?
