You get that close and you might have some nurglings trying to steal your liver and kidneys for science, by digging through you after you try to eat them.

And WK, the crusade being nearly three decades later complicates things for borrowing Falkon with your knights. Perhaps you could have his son in your ranks, if you still want him? Falkon would be around his fifties by that time, and I'm pretty sure some IG retire after twenty years of service, or revert to PDF and training/schola roles.

No one needs internal organs. I can live with that as long as I can hose your plague marines down to help clear their throats.

I don't see why it has to be 3 decades? I know it's for story purposes but I'm sure it doesn't have to be that long

Separate mess halls/quarters/armories.

So this is what I'm including for every army.

I'm fine with his son maybe being in the ranks of the armsmen if you're fine with it. I'm still working on what I want my Knights to do in thie Crusade diplomacy wise. Me and TS hasve talked about something Couple's Crusade related. Maybe his son could be a part of it as well. I DO have a few female Knights..;

Evergreen, my marines probably keep half of their organs as decorations at this point. (The intestines dangling out of their armor is rather appealing, no?)

And Kharne, the Brotherhood of Blight (which I realize can be shortened to BoB) will not like the sight of Tzeentchi sorcerers. They change people, and not in the fun and Nurgle way. They corrupt them, and make them mere pawns to some convoluted scheme. The BoB is interested in corrupting the most faithful and holy, and turning them to the greater light of Nurgle. They'll probably appreciate WK's honorable combat doctrine, but see their desire to kill everything as wasteful. For BC's EC, the pride factor would entertain them, because AFAIK, they would deny their own fall to chaos, and enjoy the ride of their denial at what they've become.

Plants. Lots of flowers and insects. Anything to remind people of the joys of Papa Nurgle.

And WK, I'd be more than happy to have his son be apart of your force. And you'd be able to mold the character however you like, be it geeky, snide, a chip off the old block, whatever. Having him take part in Couples' Crusade would be interesting as well. My Histans never got the chance to do it, because it's an all male regiment, and the only females they had a chance of seeing were a part of House Fairfax, a serf to the UM, or some noble on Novus Regulus.

I love how I have 3 possibilities for the Couple's Crusade already. Glorious. Even more so than talking about hitting Kharne in the face with a chain axe.

Make sure to add a shrine to your tyranid overlords.

BlackJack, I'm here to help your soldiers be able to speak. This disease has gotten out of hand. Let me help you or soon you will only be able to make weird noises instead of talk. Where is the fun of killing someone if they can't scream?

Oh, we won't give the satisfaction of screaming. They'd either let out a gurgling laughter, or stay completely silent throughout the entire battle.

And a Garden of Nurgle would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps a nice waterfall would top it off quite well?

Hold the phone, you said five originally.
All of my crew is human, and so are most IG characters people have. Not to mention regardless of aging, most combat humans won't survive nearly thirty. IG are expected to last one deployment, sometimes two.

One or two officers may afford rejuvenate, but 27 years is fething over pretty much anyone with humans from CoF 1.

Hence my comment about the warp, that's how I'll explain it, because I really don't want to redo the 85th or start a new faction.

It does mean anyone with family, lives or homes outside the warp is screwed. I was going to have some of my guys take a break and rejoin midway through the second campaign. Can't happen if they're 75. Unless they also spent 27 years in the warp.

Damn, humans are brief and stuff.

I don't think the average human's wife and child will have those though. I just meant anyone setting off into the warp and finding out upon exit that everyone they knew is now old as balls or dead... may be quite distressed.

Personally it's of no great consequence to my guys other than 3-4 people. But if I had a regiment it'd be crap.

Rejuvenate is odd. Like, if you liked having a young character, them being 60 but looking 30 is kinda different. You can't pretend they're young in the mental sense.

Hey everyone sorry i have been absent of late, so let me just clarify a few things. The new crusade is on one planet with a few islands with chaos having a secret base under a mountain and the loyalist forces on the space station above ?

People are still deciding where to settle. Most (if not all) of the Chaos are settling on the second moon, tyranids will start out on the planet, and the Tau will be on Edo on Moon one (?). If anyone else mentioned where they will be settling exactly, I can't remember, so I apologize.
