I know it is early days yet but I noticed that the imperial forces on moon one have deployed in a triangle around Mek Slabkill, prehaps a three pronged assault in the future ?

Sgt. Vanden I bet Irish can do that by flashing his bear chest.

So, I've been reading this rather entertaining thread (not all of it, mind you) and I started reading the other Crusade of Fury thread, and I was wondering how does one join this fan-fiction/murder party/#LiteratureNobelPrize2016
Just so, you know, I can apport whatever value my wooden-spoon winning writing has to this most magnificent of works.

Well, this current Crusade is in it's final stages, I'm writing up the final conclusion to it now. Unfortunately, you won't get in on any of that sweet pie.

Luckily for you, a sequel is up and coming, and I think you'd be more than welcome to join us for that! Just PM either of our two new GMs, Tactical_Spam or chazz huggins, for details and your plan. Looking forward to seeing what you bring!

I'm treating the whole thing as a single battle, so only one roll was needed throughout. However, I posted the space section on it's own to tie things over whilst I work on the larger ground battle.

Will do, as to what I will bring, dead people (mostly on my side), pain (again, mostly on my side) and my not english sense of humor, wich will destroy your sanity (or not).

So would you say the void battle is some what a reflection of the ground battle?

Nurgle Zombies?

TS, I would also like to point out the Moon #1 is Crion II and Moon #2 is Crion III

No, dead people as in people dying horribly because of lack of training, supplies, general incompetence, carelessness of the High Commans.

Now, you may be thinking Imperial Guard, but I'm actually thinking about their little, uglier, weaker and less intelligent one, the PDF.

Not that a Nurgle Zombie Plague randomly murdering thousands of people is an unlikely scenario, everybody knows that when food is scarce, war is raging on and disease spreads people turn to Papa Nurgle for gaks and giggles (mainly for giggles, but with old N both kinda go toghether).

Depends on what you mean. I mean, the void battle only represents a few factions, whereas the ground will represent far more.

Smudge, on the basis that I'd like to get it written and stuff, is my retirement plan for Fairfax valid in the longer term?
Feel free to PM if that sort of hinges on a spoiler.

Well. If you don't wish to die horribly you can go be friends with the Space Wolf/Imperial Knight Alliance.

But surely the PDF would like to fight alongside giant stompy death walkers?

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes

Well, I mean, yes, but you guys are up on the moon, and my guys volunteered to garrison The "totally not a single Khorne relic buried here" Blood Fort, which is on the actual world itself. But don't worry, PDFs get send to die around a lot so maybe they will actually get to fight along the Knights.
I mean, they are mostly school dropouts so I wouldn't trust them with anything more complex than walking, but their bodies may provide some useful material to build bridges from island to island.

A bunch of fresh faced lackeys with little to no combat experience? My Kroot could have some fun with them. And no, I don't mean fight, I'm talking about them watching my Kroot brutally murder something, and then eat it. Probably at the same time.

Hey, my entire force were ex-PDF, and they were pretty alright.
They found the genestealers, and didn't die.

Admittedly one then mutineed, but he had good reason.

Not all PDF are crap, if you consider that Mordians are all ex-PDF because Mordian is in a constant state of pants-gakkingly-high chaos rioting.
