I don't expect to have an intro done for for CoF: SS, but I imagine some people (myself included) were wondering if we could have some light shed on the freedom/plot amount in the next crusade. TS has tried answering our questions, but he hasn't really been able to do much.

So, one question we've had as of late is whether we still have the ability to decide what our factions do, and the writers come up to why they're doing it, with no outside force saying we cannot do that, like how the first crusade went. I don't imagine that there is any problems, but I'd feel better having this confirmed.

I believe to answers about the things in this topic. Stuff folk are worried about.
Though Kharne seems to have a different problem. I'm talking about how much we can mention in intros, how "railroaded" the campaign may or may not be (TS brought it up) and how often you'll be in contact once it rolls out.. That kinda stuff.

Once the COF 2 rolls out I do intend to be available, I assume your forces will be mostly off worlders so you will have to make a chunk about coming to Crion, your are headed to Crion after the Lord Governor sent a general distress call. The High Lords of Terra have deemed the world to valuable to fall out of imperial control and as such has sent your forces to bring the world back to business as usual. The distress call is vague but urgent.

Looks good Chazz. Now, who will be the Imperial command representative? Space Wolves, New Order, House Valorn, etc? We mentioned it earlier but IIRC we never reached an actual agreement. We could use this planetary governor as well, but there's a few problems with that:

1) SM won't like answering to some backwater governor
2) Some could very well execute/impeach the governor for incompetence for allowing the planet to rebel, and probably caused a shortage tithes to Terra because of the war.

What about something like the Mournival in the early HH books?
Where you have one leader but four (or however many) council/advisors. Each could be from a different imperial faction.

That would be pretty cool. I don't really mind who is the head honcho, since it doesn't really change my approach at all, since my Kroot are just a support for Imperials and Eldar, and do some work for Chaos, depending on what it is. The Kroot would be very, very hesitant to do anything that makes them a target for the Imperials.

Well there's also House Fairfax and the Admech of Mars.
I figured maybe the council/mournival idea allows for openness without folk pulling rank.

Maybe it's over complicated, but it gives a platform for the imperials to speak as equals.

Hmm, what's the Malleus' policy on xenos mercenaries? Not just for my sake, but I have a recommendation for bringing the Gutrippas in for annuva go. If you don't want to, I can understand, but I think it'd be funny to have them around again as a mercenary band for your force.

Fair enough, yet I was wondering if they would have another crusade to cause mayhem in. But, as I'm not well rehearsed in Ordo fluff, does the Malleus make use of xeno mercenaries? I know that it isn't out of the question given their nye on infinite power, but I don't know how much they dabble in xenos allies. Of course, the Grey Knights have some necron tech in their weaponry, but that's a different matter IMO.
