Major Defeat. Feck

I PM'd Chazz a few hours before I posted that EON, wish I would have cast it though, but Kharne had Adamantium Will and denied it.

Math it. Don't choose lower than 25 or higher than 75, and you'll have a 50/50 shot at victory

This is true. If the old method is still being used, then anything more than 25 away is a defeat, of varying degrees. Of course, there is a trick to make you more likely to get that win, but then again, random numbers could make any number valid for the win.

Of course, if you choose an extreme number (eg 3) and the rolled number is a extreme of the same degree (eg 7), you'll be very well off indeed.

Yeah, I rolled my ''lucky'' 85th three times, got victories twice and I am waiting for 3rd result.

I think it works, honestly, as there's not really a way (I know of) to make your odds better than 50/50

I've done one roll so far, it turned out pretty well; no nasty surprises awaiting me beneath the ice, it seems

Now my second roll has more chance of failing, but here's to hoping Lady Luck hasn't abandoned me yet

Nope.
They are just for show for now. They may pitch in if and when the Kroot leave. I just needed some humans on the ground to help out with lifting and building, and so I decided to use them.
