I'm waiting to hear what's happening with New Pavus before I make some some rolls for my Guard. Kharne had an idea for his 'Crons so my Eldar are waiting on that.

Ok I got the rolls for both Bob and Smudge Tiller vs Imperial on New Pavus.

As an extra safe guard against player favoritism I will have TS randomly generate the number. He will have no knowledge of what number each player chose.

I'm not worried about favoritism, but I do like the idea

This is probably a stupid question, but will things like regimental combat style or preferred weapons apply in the ground battle? (My guys have lots of Flamers for example). I think I know already, but for claritys sake I'm asking

I would think so, I think that would make the piece fluffier and less cookie cutter if that makes sense.

Well. My Guard arrived in New Pavus, Irish is launching a raid on the city, and there just happens to be a Tau backed Tiller army attacking as well

I am also writting a blurb about preparation and killing a bunch of Tillers.

The TL;DR is basically that the Tillers and Imperials control half of the city each, and after a series of Tiller strikes, the Imperials were about to launch an aerial one. At the same time, the Tillers launched a massed attack with ground and aerial forces, calling upon allies to take the city. This battle is pretty much the culmination of the NP campaign, with the winner taking the city back from the rebel scum, or the tyrannical Imperium.

Okay, I can whip up a chart of some kind in a few days, if you liked, but I can give you a basic overview of what I know thus far.

Imperials are all allied to eachother.
Imperials have hired help, in the form of Ta'lok's Kroot.
Ta'lok's Kroot have a covert low-key alliance with Sunstrike Cadre.
Sunstrike Cadre is allied with Waaagh! Hannibal.
Sunstrike Cadre is allied with both Imperials (secretly, out of protection) and Tillers (secretly, out of honour)
Tillers are allied to Garathal's Disciples of Decay.
Tillers/Sunstrike are allied to Prin'shek Cadre, and thus Kageros Dynasty.
Kageros Dynasty is allied to the Flayed Legion.
The Flayed Legion are allied to the Black Legion Warband, and *I think* Remnants? Remnants and Black Legion do not get on.

So, technically, everyone is allied down along the line, but the only real connection between Imperials and their enemies is created by Sunstrike, who are engaging in a shadow war against them. Eldar, Harlequins, Tyranids, Waaagh! Warprida, and the Remnants (if not included above) are all isolated from alliances generally - however, the Eldar and Harlequins are allied.

Just to clarify a few things, The Disciples of Decay are also allied to The bkack legion and the flayed legion (Chaos super friends) along with kharnes necrons. I dont think the flayed legion has had any interaction with the remnants but i could be wrong. And Garathal has infiltrated the tillers not allied with them but i can see for simplicity's sake why you worded it that way

Ooh, yes, many apologies - I neglected to mention the whole Chaos Super Friends Alliance (which is pretty much each Chaos affiliated faction, being the Disciples, Flayed Legion and Black Legion, excluding the Remnants).

Kageros Dynasty are allied to both the SuperFriends and the Tillers/Sunstrike (mostly Sunstrike, and mostly out of opportunity)

The Disciples are, as you said, not truly allied to the Tillers (I don't think many of the SuperFriends are), but are subverting them and using them as a means to an end. Unbeknownst to the Tillers, of course.
