Thanks, Smudge. I'm hoping to get part 2 out soon, but work has picked up and I've got a lot of family stuff going on over thanksgiving, so it may be a little bit before it comes out.

I guess I'll just have to leave you all in suspense!

I'm honestly considering dropping out entirely for a short while and maybe coming back in entirely at some point with just 1 army. As it is I'm up to my eyeballs in work and my armies are languishing and dying. (on the bright side though my IRL armies are finally getting painted)

I have an odd question for you guys. What do you think Zehk looks like? I've written for nearly two Crusades and I've never described what he looks like.

Honestly, i just see him as a vanilla New Order marine but with an exceptionally angry looking helmet

A bit like Zho Sahaal (look him up on google, someone made sketches of several Night Lords characters, including him), only with slightly angrier features.

Now that we're here, could someone tell me how the story's coming along? It's been rather quiet here for a while now.

Why does he look angry? It seems like you two seemed set on him looking angrier than everyone else.

I think it's mostly due to his name. Zekh doesn't exactly scream "nice, charming gentleman".

I can't remember who was doing it besides me, but I guess beastmen are canon in the 40k universe as a matter of fact now. Just shouting this out because I don't want this crusade to die or you guys to lose inspiration or heart when it comes to writing. I know that seems a little pep-talky from the guy who no one wants to ally with, but I feel that it's necessary to do so.

I'm just up to my neck in work, and when I'm not busy I lack motivation to write.

As I have stated I am awaiting Act 3, I eagerly await to write for this crusade again have no fears about that

We're waiting on the Gargant because that is chronologically at the same time as everything else.

I'm sating my own thirst with the Grey Sentinels series, which may or may not occur in the same headcanon universe as the Crusades of Fury (Charadon and Crion respectively).

I too am beginning to indulge my writing again seeing that the semester is dwindling down.

I don't have the drive, but I'm trying to hype myself. Never fear, Dorn's Last Aneurysm Stone Wardens and Scottish-Guardses will return after their several month long intermission!

Just getting back from a couple of weeks of visiting family for the holidays. Work on part two of the attack on the fortress of blight, will commence soon.

Still tempted to start over once final exams are over with so I can actually be caught up. Anyone mind?

Not at all, I might do the same regarding the Astartes

Personally I dont mind if people want to write for new characters/forces (I'll be honest the thought had entered my mind). I do think however that if one was to do that they need to come up with a reason as to why their old force suddenly stops fighting for Crion.

I don't think that just making them NPC is a good idea as they will more than likely just be left collecting dust and that in my opinion just harms the overall story.

Just my two cents
