A bit of a mix of boardgames and wargames for my house.

-An expansion for the boardgame Claustrophobia.

-The core set of Heroes of Normandie, which is more of a WWII minis game without the minis. Got a fun game in over at the parent's with my dad for the holiday.

-Plastic Skaven Grey seer for my growing Skaven warband for Song of Blades and Heroes.

-An out of print Hell Dorrado Ashoka mini for use as a badass RPG character which I have been looking forever for...shipped all the way from Russia to here in the US! Took a month of shipping, only to arrive perfectly on Christmas Eve.

Even when I bought it on Ebay I wondered about it being in resin instead of metal which I 'thought' the model was supposed to be, which could be a huge red flag of the sign of an illegal recaster, but the mini is probably one of the nearest to perfect castings I have bought in resin, came with a nice little "thank you for buying" card, and now I finally have my precious surly, berzerker, giant crocodile-lizardman of a not-Sparticus/Angron!

I got:
Box of Sternguard for my Ultramarines
Betrayal at Calth (all of the models are going to used in my 40k Ultramarines)
Wych Cult Shardstorm (to start my DE army)

I bought myself a blood angels army with the money i got as a present.
2 furiosos
2 assault squads
1 vangaurd
1 death company
2 vindicators
1 drop pod
2 rhino/raxorback
plus some hobby supplies on top of that.
and i already had a BAC set and some DC and sanguinary guard.

i got a lot of hobbying ahead of me

@Chief - Well done!!!

By the way, if you haven't popped them open already, you might want to trade one or both of the assault squad or vanguard vets for another death company. DC come with the right bits to model as ASM (or vv), they're cheaper, and they have all the Blood Angels markings. Just save the parts from 2 boxes that don't have the X marks, and put them towards your ASM.

Also, the BA Tacticals are a wealth of bits

Oh well, I'm gonna combine them with the Space wolf squad I bought earlier for basing purposes. That way I should be able to get 9-10 models out of it and at the same time mock any SW players out there #AvengeProspero

Honestly, I'd say they're good for bits for mixing into normal CSM squads. Just try and keep it appropriate to the weapon they should have.

Or give your squad leaders daemonheads etc. A bunch of raptors with a leader using the wings would look great. I mean, raptors suck horribly but that's beside the point.

Well, I was really, really good, even though the boxing day prices were great

I got a Bastion, Windrider, Interrogator Chaplain, and Manufactorum, all at 33% off. Plus, a 5 of the new Vallejo Metallic Air paints that I was missing. I'll probably never use them, since I can't tell the difference between them and other paints, but hell, I have the set now.

So December came and went!

I purchased these on Black Friday, but they were Christmas gifts to myself as I knew no one in my family would even bother to pay attention to my Christmas list (I actually ended up with a bunch of Star Wars action figures, because I collect Stormtrooper figures...)

I got a Galleon Colossal (which I picked up myself from my FLGS prior to it getting wrapped up for Christmas... No surprises here!).

Conversely, my Brother did surprise me with a load of vouchers for a certain well-known wargaming website. So there is that.

Have fun with Frontiers-it's a huge deal for what it goes for nowadays. Several years of owning and playing it meant I knew with absolute confidence that Heroes of Normandie would be a great game to invest in, as it builds upon 90% of the Frontiers rules.

My wife will be very frustrated with my spending habits if they ever update it to the HoN format. As it is I am buying three or four of the punchboards for HoN tonight as an after-Chriatmas present to myself.

A bad Hangover if that counts.Also i got this Bolt action HAul and a OP blisters of Flames of war stuff.

Well I sold my Tau army to my FLGS and then used the store credit to get two new drop pods and two boxes of Devastators.
