Sounds good Buttery It's booked in advance this time. I believe Mellamoluigi from here on the forums is gonna be coming down with Tyranids or Dark Angels but we'll see how it pans out.

I often play Mella. Make sure that you take your best list (and some anti-air)...

My doubles partner has confirmed he can do the 4th.

I will say excuse him he's a little distracted/fuzzy. Good friend of mine, but not having a good time of it lately.

Raaather than trying to cram us all into one game perhaps it would be preferable to do something of a mini-tourney and alternate against eachother, with Butter and their partner being one team?

My brain is gum right now... We need the practise against two people wielding 1010 each. Basically two-person teams of 2020 total, but not one force of 2020 if that makes sense. 4040 on the table in play.
My big words are failing me. Playing one person wielding two independent forces of 1010 would also be okay, but we need the format practise and don't want to face one 2020 force.

We could always do morning or afternoon if it's impractical.

Hmm, if we do end up with 5 of us that will exclude one person is all. If it comes to that I could run some errands in town for the afternoon so maybe you guys could do that for the second game.

I can do up to 1500 points of either CSM or Khorne Daemonkin.

Either my game parter or I could lend someone a second force if we end up with five folk?

If it makes it any easier, I'm not sure I can do the 4th; I'd need to take the day off work. Not a problem, but I need to check what's going on in the office first.

Ok I'll bring 1500 that can be trimmed down to 1010 so theres flexibility in terms of what games we end up playing

I might be being thick in the head here but I don't understand how another force would fix the problem of someone being left out if we did 2v2?

Didn't mean to co fuse anyone! I haven't got finances to do a couple of trips this month unless something changes dramatically, so we were looking to see how the armies work together before April. We could shush and find another day that doesn't complicate stuff for you guys.

I'm currently sporting over 2000 points worth of Chaos Space Marines and currently painting/assembling my Hive Fleet Behemoth.

I also have a friend who is so used to beating me with his gun line of Tau, that I'm hoping that I could bring him along to one of these meetings. I shall pray to the Chaos Gods/Hive Mind that you guys will be able to knock him down a notch! (Best friend of 19 years and such).

We've always tried to have a good time with the game, since it's well.. a game! But we are always eager to meet new people and to learn more about the game, and you guys sound like someone who wouldn't throw models at us .

We fear Lizardmen players with their "toad" models for that very reason...

If we can turn this into a real meetup of Nottingham gamers it'll be totally worth the complications of trying to organise the games. I would just much appreciate having people send me a confirmation PM so I can keep a proper tally of how many are coming for certain. Doesn't have to be now if you're unsure, just send it me before the 4th and I can book more tables appropriately, or i'll just go by the amount of people who post here.

Come on down dude! Meetups at the 4th, next Friday. Another Chaos player would be swell Might have to end up getting a third table by the looks of things. Fridays usually aren't TOO packed up so should be okay, i'll call up WHW tomorrow and have a chat with the folks.

In any case I called up and got us 3 tables booked. Sounds like it's going to be a quiet night so we should have them all day. I'll be there first thing in the morning at 10, come look for tables booked for Mark Rigley (me) with a Chaos force set up on

An entirely different friend may turn up in the afternoon with his Skitari if he can make it.
