Gorgeous stuff, Jan!

Tell you what, I've got unassembled pics of Ustrello's Corax, and I'm getting Manus. I'll take pictures so you can see which you'd enjoy working with more.

I may come home with Horus, because I'm like that.

Managed to put some work in and get Baldur's base finished. It's one of the first times I have tried doing a swamp base properly.

Unfortunately the photo is a bit washed out, and it makes it hard to see a few things (like the stumps and the mold/lichen growing on them.

It came together pretty well in the end, I am quite happy with it.

As BC said Jadenim, get some light on that model so we can see it, its looking very promising from just those photos.

Awesome work Jan, you seem to have been having a lot of fun with your tentacle work recently

Right, lesson number 1; don't take pictures at 1:30am, no matter how elated you are to have finished a model.

Lesson 1a; certainly don't post said pictures on the internet

Lesson 2; 2016 is the year to learn how to take better pictures of miniatures.

Edit: Just switched rooms & lights; much better pics incoming, so I've spoilered these!

Spoiler:

It seems to be a toss up between having enough light to see the detail (and getting a yellowish tinge from the room light) or having a better representation of the actual colours from just daylight. Hope these help anyway.

Much better pictures.

You can get nice light tents for ~$50 with all the lights. Packs away nice and small as well. The Wife got me one for my birthday, makes photos a lot easier.

I know, I was getting very annoyed earlier; the photos just didn't even resemble the finished model.

I kind of regret not ordering the various sets of those that were available during bones 2 and 3 now..

You can use any of the most recent shots for mine AZ, but if you would like me to put one specifically here with "FINAL ENTRY" tacked on, just let me know. Thanks for organizing this all, I'd say it's a pretty big success

You can actually still add stuff to Bones KS 3....

<whispers> c'mon you know you want to!

I'm getting the space mouslings -_-

you can still get these (above) but yeah they're only in metals I *think*

I don't really like the space mouslings. Like at all. Something about looking like they're entirely made out of spare shoulder pads or something. I did break down and order both sets of scary chibi models for... some reason. My entire bones 3 order is... weird.

Nice Guildenstern, I particularly like the shading on the rogue's cloak.

Post your entry in its start state, whether just the plastic sprues or assembled and primed, just not painted.

When finished, post pictures of the entry.

FirstPost wrote:How To Enter
- You may enter up to 5 MODELS as a SINGLE ENTRY, and are permitted one entry per member per month. If you enter multiple models, they should ideally be related in some way, such as part of the same squad, unit or scene if you are doing a diorama
- You MUST post a 'proof' picture of your entry in the thread of the state it was in before you started working on it; this must be either unassembled, unpainted, primed or coated a single colour. Entries that do not submit a valid Proof Picture will not be eligible for voting.
- After this, you may post WIP pictures in this thread and your own if you wish, and on completing the entry, you may post up to 5 final pictures IN THIS THREAD that will then be used for voting.

Shrug-cork *is* pretty nice. Looks like the kinda guy that would hang out with fisty glue man. Boars for February are nearly ready for paint, just a wee bit of gap fill I think, and the orcs to ride them are coming along. Pretty easy on the mold lines, just need to straighten a few spears.

Jadenim, Gulliman looks fantastic, he'll be a real show off piece, congrats

The mice are very cute Guildensternm you have done well to get detail on such small models.

I'm happy to say I've finished my entry for this month. Brother Claudio

My first attempt at painting a BA in over a decade, thought I would start the year off with something other than Orks and no time for creative mods this month either

Thanks MIdget Gems, guess I'm going to have to up my game on the rest of my Ultramarines though!

I really like some of the details on that terminator, the blood gems and claws in particular.

My entry is going to be a tight squeeze to get it finished. I use Lustrian undergrowth but it was dry, so I ordered more and it won't arrive until Friday noon. Then I have a party Friday night and a hangover Saturday to attend to.
