I play Tau. Yes let the butthurt flow. However in my local supremacy league, the player in the middle has defended twice, and I am his third challenge. If he wins again, he gets the title, goods, presteige and all that. I however have every intention of beating him. The hitch is, I have yet to defeat him with any of his armies. He is smart, a good player, and knows his shizzle. I have access to every model from Tau except Vespid, which I don't think is an issue. I am looking on advice to defeat this.

Current plan is MSU MCs and suits (crisis and broadside) with fire warrior and kroot spam.

1500 pts hunter coningent or anything that looks like it could defeat it. Please help.

If you could get something tough into combat that might help even just to slow it down. You could always ally in a culexus assassin as well?

I'm not sure but these suggestions might help

Only other army I have access to is Chaos, and unlikely to be able to do much with an ally force of Chaos, unless I just spam kroot and Fire warriors and ally in enough to get my 2 heldrakes in, even then against his WK Ill just slowly get whittled down

Stormsurge and Drone-Net to take out the wk, min cad to get Stormsurge, Retaliation Cadre to get assured turn 2 deep strike on bikers with plasma crisis with drone net support perhaps?

Oh, also this puts me in middle spot, so must also be a list that can handle other stuff, not just a beat eldar list. Have to defend 3 times in a row to take the prize.

Without going Stormsurge, I was considering Dawnblade with 3 riptides, retaliation cadre and ranged support cadre.

Watching games, I have learned WK can wait till turn 2, the sear council on bikes and his other bike blob actually need to die first turn, Otherwise he ends up with 2++ rerollables or something crazy like that. So deep striking may be a bad idea.

Tossing around double IA riptide wing and marker light support from a commander with Drone Controoler and lots of fire warriors with whats left over, or possibly a farsight bomb attempting to use the kill my piranha strategy, but I don't think he will fall for that.

If you don't have D-missiles, FSC with Monster Hunter will do the trick against WKs.

I was leaning towards this, but honestly the WK is not what scares me, its the huge psychic blob of bikes with rerollable 2++ that is winning him the games.

I would post my list in the list area, But Im sure he frequents this.

Or do you just mean the Farseers and Warlocks on Jetbikes?

Good read. Thank you. But as Tau then how do i deal with his psychic invincible farseer bikes and a WK while surviving to pull ovjectives and points?

If you have a stormsurge or 2, it should be able to nuke the WK before it ever becomes an issue with plenty of markerlight support

Stormsurges were used against this list before and failed lol. However maybe it was the way he played it. The person told be the best way to beat his list is MSU Marines with Grav spam. Well I don't own marines and only other option I have like that is Farsight plasma rifle bomb with 5 suits and one bodyguard to bring the MSS CnC and Puretide engram neuro chip for the WK, and MSS and CNC for the seer council blob on bikes.

Right now its a riptide wing

Farsight 4 suits with 2x plasma

2x5 Fws thats 1500 pts with equipped right. I think that will et tabled easily, and I suck at making hard to beat lists, I make fun lists. So really, other than 3 Stormsurges, which would still get tabled, what should I do.
