Lias is coming, altough I must admit I just modeled him as a somewhat basic marine with some flashier armour and a Sternguard Bolter. Seeing as on multiple forums people want to see him already I feel the pressure to make him more awesome haha.

These guys are stunning, really, really nice. The battle damage is top-notch. I know it's the Chapter's colour scheme, but having the weapon casing be the same colour as the armour looks ace.

I love these so much, its by far my favorite style and I see less and less of it lately(cartoon airbrush everywhere). As others have said, the muted colors and restrained yet identifiable damage are great! Exactly the stuff I try to do too. Keep it up I look forward to seeing more!

I also always appreciate when someone acknowledges some things are a choice, rather than an accident just by looking at a miniature. To me it's a sign of a person who can read the painters thoughts just by looking at the end result, very insightful.

Myrmidon Destructors

I was never really a fan of the Centurion Devastators models, and I've already painted 2 units. I decided to look for alternatives. Issodon, in the fluff, is basically a hermit who shuns social interaction so I figured a bunch of Gun Servitors would be a good retinue for him to infiltrate behind enemy lines without having to say a word (or just a few, anyway.) For the minis I picked Myrmidon Destructors, which are almost exactly Centurions in size and otherwise fitting aswell. Most of the time on these was spent shading the robes and adding some different hues to the metal, also added a bit of rust in places.

Lovely job on them, all the Mechanicus models are great but you really took them to the next level.
