Obviously the Jim Henson sculpts will look better than the human sculpts, so I'm not going to bother nit picking the accuracy difference. I'm in as soon as they are available. This is awesome.

That Goblin King is a bit rough - the paint job seems pretty poor too compared to all the rest. :/

The goblin Kings groin needs more work, that's not anything like it appears in the movie!

So, not THAT Twilight, and the shop needs a sign-in.

Given the 'paint' is entirely Photoshopped, I think it's more the rough photography than lack of paintbrush skill!

Game spotted at GAMA (via Games of Berkeley)!
I hope the mini's are pre-production ones because they look a little flat.

They're passable as boardgame tokens, but extremely disappointing given the renders shown.
Game box looks very 1980's... Undecided as to whether or not that's a good thing.

I don't see how you can put images from Labyrinth on the box and NOT look very 1980s.
And yowch - if those are the quality of the minis I am out and very sorely disappointed. :/

Even if they are pre-production test miniatures...should they be that rough? The mould lines on poor Ludo make me sad.
Am a bit gutted if that is the quality level, I was going to paint up the Goblin King for a friend who is a Bowie nut.

but I wouldn't be surprised if they were the level the final game will provide (hopefully not though)

Alessio has confirmed that that those are nothing like the final models on the Facebook page
alessio wrote:Wait a second! where did the 'Mock Up' signs go? we did send a few big blue Mock Up signs (looking a bit like Sarah's book) made to stick all over the prototype...
What you see there is a mock up I personally stuck together using our office printer (glued on a mix of Waterloo and Shuuro bits...) and models printed using our (very cheap) office 3d printer, then sprayed grey to look a bit like the final pieces...

Honestly, even if they did have the signs on them, they would have been better off just showing cardboard cutouts with the renders on them than those miniatures.
Mock-up or not, it's going to serve as a very visual reminder that the final product generally doesn't look as good as the render, and make people wonder just what they will get.

Do River Horse have an actual "go to" PVC (I assume, like the game pieces for Loka) producer?Or is it just a contract to contract thing?
