Totally missed this or forgot about it, there is a Labyrint boardgame in the making although info is sparse.

The article from Beast of war http://www.beastsofwar.com/labyrinth/river-horse-show-goblin-cavilry-labyrinth/

Spoiler:
The Labyrinth Board Game from River Horse is coming closer to being a reality and with that in mind they have shared an image of the Goblin Cavilry who will be bounding around the tabletop. See what you think of the model…

Goblin Cavilry - Labyrinth

Spoiler:
This is rather cute, as you might have already guessed it would be, and while it brings back thoughts of the film it also reminds me of some of those creatures you’d find in Oldhammer collections too. A wonderful piece for building on the world of Labyrinth.

Whoa whoa whoa! Labyrinth? That Labyrinth!? Goddamn! Sign me up, too. I wonder, does the game cheat and make things harder every time you say "it's not fair"?

There was an interview about this on BoW a few weeks back.

One thing to note is that, at present, the sculpts are going to be 54mm, rather than 28-32. They are, however, looking at making the 3-ups available to buy in resin as they have had a lot of requests from everyone that sees the sculpts.

The sculpt for Jareth went off for approval about 2 days before dear ol' David passed on, so that one is held up.

The release date being talked about is June-ish time.

This is the first game preview my wife has ever shown any interest in and explicitly asked me to buy... I suspect she just wants it so we can have the figures in a display case though

Oh this looks very promising! I hope they make the old sleepy man with the flamingo on his head.

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

I must have this. It'll be even more amazing in 54mm / 3-up. Ludo will be brilliant for Frostgrave, too.

Hmm... not as sold on that one. Proportions seem a little off, and the sculpting is quite soft.

The freaky digital painting doesn't help it any, either.

Face is a bit good, though.

That Hoggle with that paint job is amazing.

I've never felt that particularly emotionally attached to Labyrinth but I really, really do wish Alessio and Riverhorse all the best with this. They look great! I'll be keeping an eye on how the models go at the very least.

Having recently rewatched Dark Crystal, Labyrinth and the Henson fairy tales, I had to admit that none of them are dramaturgical masterpieces.
But kids have other needs in story-telling and these movies opened a whole new world to me, visually (along with Star Wars).

The Froud-Bosch-Henson look burnt itself so much into my synapsies that gnarly, big-lipped/-nosed gnome types and longsnouted gnarly goblinoids in weird pot-and-kettle armour has been my favorite look in fantasy miniatures since forever. Confrontation via Paul Bonner managed to maintain that look in a lot of their minis, and the Oldhammer range (pre-4th edition) had that, as well.

So, yes, whatever today's kids and adults might think about the movie, this will be an auto-buy for me, too.

This game will be a must buy for me. My wife and I have seen labyrinth many many times. In fact, this may be the only purchase she actually wants me to make.

Dark Crystal had great worldbuilding but a meh storyline. I'd snatch up a Dark Crystal 28MM board game though.

Sculpts look great imo so far.

Let's hope the Jareth sculpt is as faithful to the great man himself in all his impressive glory.

I literally watched Dark Crystal for the first time in ages this last Saturday - I have to say I agree - nostalgia-aside it was a pretty meh movie with great character designs. I hope Labyrinth holds up better.

For those looking for miniatures with a Dark Crystal vibe to them, might I suggest Twilight? Not my creation, but I've got some of the minis and they are nice sculpts/casts, and the fluff is solid. Rules seem nice and unique too, but I've not played yet.
