This is the kind of attitude that gets us nowhere. This is supposedly a new era for gw. The last six months have seen some very positive improvents by Gw. Aside from price, the excessive secrecy is the biggest problem I have with Gw right now. A event like this is the perfect opportunity to generate a little more buzz about the company. Let attendees try out the new AOS rules for example. Really all they need to do is say, we've got some killer stuff for chaos coming this summer (or I heard you liked adeptus mechanicus...) and the Internet will go crazy.
The Tau do short hops through the warp or something, but it can always be retconned into something along the lines of "and the Tau were given a functional warp drive and xeno lackey to navigate for them for the low, low price of 5000 resources"
BrookM wrote: Or take it all in stride, wheel out their latest Mecha-ex Machina and blow everything away.
I got a feeling the very first appearance of Tau titans is going to cause a stir among the Imperium and a loss. I'm going to call Tau victory on this one, but with some caveat. Maybe a Pyrrhic victory for the Tau at worse. This is revenge for the gulf after all and we want to understand the Imperiums best tech better. Supposedly it ties into the events that happened in the two books. But this might be hearsay.
Nope, Tau Won Tauros and the last two books (1.5 books at the least), time to die.

Yeah, the Admech keeps a lot of scary gak in vaults beneath the Forge Worlds, since it's to rare to drag out for any old battle.
A Forge World being invaded by a bunch of Xenos hereteks? And said Forge World has the support of the Red Scorpions, who are just coming off a loss in the Tyranid/Imperium book?
The Tau are boned.

Well, to be fair, the Red Scorpions walked away from Imperial Armour 4 awfully squeaky clean, with minimal losses and a nice pat on the shoulder from the Inquisition for being such massive tools, unlike their Imperial Guard "allies" they left to die, the filthy pieces of ceramite clad gak.
Isn't warhammerfest two days? Could be more upcoming stuff tomorrow, today was just to show progress?

HEY!
They may be Space Nazis, but they're MY Space Nazis
Wait a second, if the Red Scorpions are Space Nazis, this would mean that their Chapter Master is Hitler in Space...
The Red Scorpions Chapter Master (Carab Culln) is now a Leviathan Dreadnought (I.E Mecha Robot Hitler...)
WOLFENSTIEN 3D IN 40K CONFIRMED???

Well, Space Marines aren't acceptable, and I imagine the Chapter master being confined to a dreadnought and losing put together would make them ready and raring to kill some Xenos of any kind!

Why do they keep failing at cross-platform promotions? Armada is a huge hit, they should be releasing BFGyesterday.
Bloodbowl and Epic are the first two games the specialist studio are working on, that is why they were the ones they mentioned, they actually had stuff to show in relation to them also, even if one was a sketch book.
Im guessing they would have shown BFG stuff off if they had any.
Not a fan that Red Scorpion thing, I really do not like chapter specific stuff, especially when its a chapter I know nothing about !

Red Scorpions date back to the Rogue Trader days afaik.
There might have been pictures and a slight mention but thats all, maybe my memory is not as good as I thought !
I guess im just jealous, I would love one of my chapters to actually get something chapter specific.

well, Anyone would be Jealous if someone else's Chapter Master got turned into a LEVIATHAN SIEGE DREADNOUGHT
My guesses for Stats and Rules
Lord Of War (375 points)
WS6 BS5 S7(10) 14 13 12 I5 A3 HP4 (maybe 5 if FW are nice)
Special Rules
Proud To Live, Proud To Die, Hard To Kill (this rule makes a return but gives him the Venerable and IWND rules)
Lord High Commander (all Red Scorpions get LD10, if he dies all Red Scorpions get Preferred Enemy and lose the LD10)
INDEPENDENT CHARACTER
A Special Rule where he can join Dreadnought Squadrons
He wont have the rule that makes Leviathans ignore Malediction powers ect
Ignores Crew Shaken and Crew Stunned
Wargear
A Red Scorpions variant of the Leviathan Siege Claw
Twin Linked Assault Cannon
Twin Linked Heavy Flamer
3x Hunter Killer Missiles/Phosphex Discharger
Reinforced Automantic Shielding (4+ Invun but add D3 to Strength and Range of an Explodes! result)
Armoured Ceramite

And some of those campaign books had Tau commanders going toe-to-toe with Marine Captains (later Chapter Masters) in HTH combat. Hell, in one of the books the only Imperial attack that had any effect was mass Assassin spam, and even that completely failed except for the Culexus who killed the Space Pope.
Because GW see their licensed products as something that gives them good numbers for little effort. Never mind that they could increase their return with just a little effort (imagine the cross promotion they could do - but won't! - for Dawn of War III).

Any mention of Necromunda?

I'm more interested in AT than absolutely anything else GW may produce in the next 5 years to be honest, the smaller scale suits the setting much, much more than 28mm ever will.
I know, right!? I'm extremely interested in this, that mini Warlord was just the perfect size, imo.
I just hope they make a mid-size titan that isn't a Reaver... always disliked the look of that one!

Just because that's the plot of the Taros Campaign, the Anphelion Project, the Orphean War and Raid On Kastorel Novem doesn't mean it's going to happen again.
And it's not important that the Imperium looks good in these campaign books. It's that Forge World's golden boys do.

Sorry if this was covered, did we get a timeline on the Adeptus Titanicus release? And is there a good consolidated summary somewhere, or are most of you just combing through this thread?

Painters will always paint so its good to see them tackling GW minis on a competitive level.
Some superb stuff there! It'd be awesome if GW do a professionally shot showcase of the winners in each category like they used to so we can really get a good look!
