Man I can't believe how long it is taking to get any new info on the second release. I am hoping foolishly that they amend the dreadnoughts and add something to wolf scouts, if not I am still excited for the fluff and my army is in a good place, I just want some more viable options beyond wolf guard grey hunters and thundercav/wulfen. I will say I am happy we got the 3 tank formations at least, 3 triple las preds really helps us against superheavies, no buying 3 is another tough hurdle at 60 a tank :/

Really? I thought it was within like 2-3 weeks at most. Then again I dont pay much attention to the new releases these days.

If part 2 comes out in that same amount of time, then it should be out by now, but we are in an AoS wave, and wouldn't we have heard something rumor wise? Also if it is coming out wouldn't the plastic rubrics be released with them? I keep hearing that the plastic models wont be released until this summer at the earliest. I dont see GW waiting months after the campaign release to come out with the plastic rubrics. Of course I could be wrong. If I am, feel free to correct me.

Rather dissapointing that it looks like it will be more daemons and not 1K sons.

Lol! Chaos Marines getting anything remotely good for once?! Hahahahahahahaha!

Doesn't matter how unfair the match-up is, GW only wants their poster boys winning so that Little Timmy can stroke his ego and keep his parents buying him scads of Space Marine/Space Wolf kits.
The role of Chaos Marines has almost always been to play 'effortless punching bag'.

I really don't get the hate for CSM because I've always found them to be a challenge on the tabletop. Yes, I know how to play the game, but we don't play to win, just have fun doing it. All the "useless" units that I've seen people overlook because points or whatever, actually perform very well!

Anyway, are there any more whispers in the rumour mill for this? I'm anxious to see how this plays out.

If nobody is playing to the best of their ability, any unit can look okay. The codex is garbage, and tournament results show that.

Nah, it's more that we're just setting our expectations about as low as is humanly possible...

This way, if things stay roughly the same rules-wise, there's no great disappointment.
On the other hand, if things improve even to say, the level of GK's/Ad mech/KDK, then we'll be that much more excited & over the moon about finally not being treated like the crispy-fried poop sandwich we've been for the past 10 years!

The call of Archaon and the Deathwatch quick read series both started about 6 months before the related products were released. If we follow that logic, we can expect Warzone Fenris part 2 in the autumn. This seems especially likely given Sad Panda's comments about this being the year of Aos.

Ladies and gentlemen, the wait is over! Starting today, and continuing until October, expect the continuation of the saga that started in Curse of the Wulfen, written by yours truly. The sequel novel will be serialised in eight ebook chapters, starting with The Lost King today. All eight will be collected into a full, physical novel at the end of the year. And best of all, the first chapter is free to download!

I totally agree! Instead we should talk about how the Sisters of Battle really need a new Codex and an entire line of plastic models urgently!

Gazhkull arrive, smacks Abaddon behind the hear, tell him “Crawl back to your hole to train some more” and then leave. Anti-climatic much? Reminds me of something .

Nah. It's so that SW/Imperial players in general can feel that much more amazing about their army because they "overcame all the odds" and won in the end... somehow.

Gotta keep stroking that massive Loyalist ego and remind the Mary Sues how they always win in the end.

Rob Schneider thought being a Space Wolf couldn't get any hairier, but just when he's about to be promoted to Grey Hunter, an Ork WAAAGH!!! shows up and that's when things get knocked into 12th gear.

It's almost as riveting a odds-overcoming endeavor as John Cena in WWE (who, come to think of it is very much the Space-Wolves of wrestling)

+1 for a Daemon win!!

Well, the Grey Knights feature heavily towards the end of Part I, so it wouldn't surprise me if they got some formations in Part II.

Hopefully though, we don't regress back to the levels of 5th edition stupidity where games of Grey Knights vs. Daemons was an automatic curbstomping in the GK's favour...

This is just a guess, but the culmination of the Fenris story at the end of the year does seem to setup a new CSM codex and a reason to launch a new edition of the game, if this is the 40k Endtimes.
