Except Typhoon which is very good for it's points, how do you find others? They kinda do seem a bit underwelhelming for their points. 12 hp is nice but their fire power does look a bit wanting when comparing them to imperial guard/auxilia ones. But they do look really good! Those of you that have them, how do you find them?

I love my Felblades. I've yet to actually have one be destroyed in combat and they alternating ammunition and number of guns it can sport makes it very much worth its points (to me) anyway. The Glaive comes in probably second. I have not much experience withe the Falchion though yet.

Sub orbital strike wing with 3 lightning strike fighters looks nuts

The Glaive is insane, ridiculously good against armour.

The glaive is a very nice tank, and the Felblade a nice tactical unit. The Falchion is rather lacklustre by comparison - I can't see why it was twin-linked rather than twin - it's a 12HP unit, easily capable of mounting a single warhound-calibre weapon.....and how often does a BS4 cannon miss a superheavy with a 5" blast?

The Cerberus is nice. As with the Typhon, you can take a pair, and the neutron laser is very good for suppressing enemy superheavies - most titan and superheavy guns are blast, template or beam, so 'snap shots only' is crippling.

Don't forget the malcador which can have flare shields.

Yeah, but only on AV13 in its Legion version, which I think is pretty meh. The Imperial Militia Malcador is far superior IMO since it can upgrade to AV14 AND only takes a HS slot.

Can the militia take malcadors? I know the auxilia can, I wasn't sure on the militia.

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.

Yep. It's the "Auxilia Malcador Heavy Tank"...in the militia list in book 5. Sixty-five points cheaper than the Legion variety. Loses Command Tank and Battle Speed, but gains the option for Siege Armour (AV14 front, loses Fast) for the price of an HK missile. And of course it's HS, leaving your LoW slot open for a bigger superheavy.

The Glaive is my favourite. Quite good firepower and incredibly sexy as well.
