Not a massive haul but I do tend to be strict with myself.

Of course the beauty of it was that, due to taking out the Wargames Illustrated sub, the Hail Caesar book, Romans and Centurion figure only cost me a fiver.

Being amongst the first to make it to the Perry's allowed me to have a chat with my heroes as well as picking up the new Afghanistan/ Sudan British infantry. I now have terriers that may be drafted into my 40K Praetorian IG army every now and then.

They were probably entranced by the rhythmic vibrating of a couple of the Alien models in their revolving display cabinet.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

I got::

Garden of Morr - This was a good find, they are hard to get hold of.
Renedra Gravestones - To go with the Garden of Morr.
Reaper Bones - Assorted resin miniatures. Nothing major just the bargain bucket ones, I went for monsters mostly included a nice Chimera and a few otgher D&D miniatures I will find very handy.
AVP Sentry Guns - These were popular, I missed out on getting some Predator hounds.
AVP Facehuggers - Both of these will be a gift for our groups AVP owner.

Not a lot really, but then I mainly go to connect to certain faces once a year. I tried to get a copy of Frostgrave, but it sold out show-wide, good indicator of the games ballooning popularity.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

There was only 1 rocking alien when I was there but he was really going for it

It was surprisingly hard to get Poly cement, and painting stuff in general.

Very angry, but most reserved it for Jarek rather than have a go at his employees. The irony was having to queue in their sales queue to get your Kickstarter stuff validated was costing them money. Lots of people put down purchases and walked away because of the wait.

Really? I saw pretty much every paint brand plus some really obscure ones present and all types of glue all over the place. Definitely no shortage of hobby supplies.

Now I have updated with 20 more pictures, this time its all about commission painters.

So, did anyone put in an order for the epic Galaxy tower on the TTCOMBAT stand? If I had somewhere to store it I would have put down the £150 asking price there and then!

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Did anyone play any games? It sounds like most people went there just to buy things. I guess I can see the appeal of being able to see things in person before you buy, rather than purchasing over the internet when you can't find things at a local store.

Yes you certainly can play games, some of the tables are more display orientated but you do get a certain amount of club presence, and the likes of Hawk giving demos of DZC and the like.

The appeal is also in some of the truly mental display pieces that you will only ever get at shows of that size, some of which must surely take years to prepare (take a look at some of the photos in the links reds8n put in the post above yours for instance)

Wonderful reports, I totally missed the company selling the ultra-realistic trees - certainly gives Last Valley some competition finally (and I love Last Valley - have a forest full of his trees )

Got to admit, I spend as much time looking at the crowd as the models when going through al the pictures, just in case I spot myself or friends

Last year we were photographed in the main queue waiting to go in and also at the Warlords stand... This year, alas, no sightings yet :(

That is me (darrkespur) on the left, then Jon (yakface), JP (JP1138) and the boss himself, Jim (legoburner) moving things on top of the cabinets. Steve (StephenGaskell) was also there. Thanks for everyone that visited the stand, we had a lot of fun chatting to people about MEdge!
