So I've been looking to add some forgewotld fun to my undivided warband, and a chaos contenptor seems like what I've been looking for, but my question is what model to get? I've been looking at the basic loyalist model for conversion, and at the iron warriors, but I was wondering if anyone had converted either of these models before. And how hard would it be to change out the head on one of those?

I turned the one in the BAC into a word bearers one, added some skulls and chains, some ribbons I painted up flesh, the little scribbles to make it look like words (only after did I realise I had the freaking text transfers.. ) some blood etc.

Not sure how easy it is to get just that model off ebay or whatnot, or if you're wanting other weapons, but just as an idea.

That could be a decent plan, but ca you change out the weapons on it? I have a loadout in mind.

With some effort, yes. There are only 2 options in kit. Left hand Power Fist/Stormbolter combo, right arm is an assault cannon or a multimelta. I have seen it easily converted to house the FW parts, but its also monopose facing directly forward. Easy to fix using a saw, but it's going to take some work to make it as dynamic as the FW variety.

If you're doing chaos undivided and don't mind spending a little, I'd honestly suggest getting an Iron Warriors Contemptor.

I did see that one and thought it looked pretty much perfect but I was wondering if anyone knew if the head is a separate part or not? I honestly don't really like the one it comes with

Get the BoC one, the powerfist and multi-melta combo is the cheapest points wise and a decent loadout. ALOT cheaper $ as well.
