I'm sorry. If Space Wolves can use a discipline called "Librarius" that's utter bs.

Well, I think I am over my irriation with Pedro not being useable in the Sternhammer(not really...). I will just use him in a CAD and take a Librarius Conclave and give one of them the Bones of Osrak for additional an Warp Charge and more reliable harnessing. You see what, you made me do, GW?

Real reason curse of the Wulfen happened: Magnus pierce through the Veil of realities and saw that the Space Wolves are now doing things they tried to get banned/led to the Thousand Sons fall, clearly.

Yes, but the powers shouldn't be identical. Especially the ones in the discipline named explicitly "Librarius" i.e. the thing they objected to so vehemently that they had it banned.

Librarius should be SM exclusive for their codex, like how DA have Interromancy and Wolves have the Tempests, while the other three ought to be BRB powers.

It's not like that term has to be used by the Wolves. It's the name for the Discipline in the rules, that's all. They could call it Fluffy Little Doggycasts discipline for all we care - they still channel the same nasty stuff with the same result as other people, though. Just like they manifest their totally-not-psychic/warp-related stuff through Warp Charges in the Psychic Phase.

I bet Space Wolves players would've cried foul if everyone BUT them had gotten access to the new toys. If you think your wolves would never use Librarius powers, just don't roll on that table.

Yeah, I guess if they can summon daemons they can use Librarius. But that kind of begs the question why everyone isn't allowed to use everything.

Are the psychic powers the only thing that the Dark Angels get out of this book?

There is a pic on atias site that shows a little side segment in the book that details 4 famous strike forces, one of them being a BT skyhammer strike force with order of the ebon chalice allies, to which no heretic could withstand such zealous fury.

Sorry on mobile so can't link image quickly.

Is it just me or do the new strike forces from this supplement do not require you to take two core choices to get the extra rules?

1 Core + 1 Aux gets all of the special rules?

Compared to the Gladius where you need

2+ Core + Aux to get the Company support rule

That's not how the Gladius works.

By default the Gladius is 1 core +1 Aux and does confer rules, but by having two battle demi-companies you get the additional benefit of the free transports.

I have to admit, if Ezekiel gets FAQ'd with access to the new powers, the idea of having a ML 3 Psyker with access to this new psychic power buffet is kind of ballin'.

You'd have to be nuts to use a chapter master over a librarian.

There's literally 12 different disciplines to choose from XD

Librarians need other Librarians to get more Warp Charges, and you have to rely on rolling the powers you want.

With a Chapter Master, you KNOW what you're getting. Now it is even easier to throw Smashfether and Smashbane in the same army.

I think there is kind of an advantage to being able to say - hmmm, which powers do I want - oh, how about the one that counters your army!

Tigurius doesn't need to roll
