Looking at the LoG rules, it says you may take one per every full 1000 points. Does this mean you are allowed to take one in games less than 1000 pts (as it's still within the first 1k) or not (as it's not a full 1k)?

Full 1,000 points means that you have to have the full 1,000 points before you take one, not just a part of the 1,000 points.

Another thing that's just come to mind that I'm brain farting on, could you include a LoG in a 1000 point game (as you're playing a full 1000) or is the 1000 points essentially a 'tax' of sorts before you are granted permission to take one.

Read the Legacies of Glory rules again. 1 vehicle per full 1000 points may take Legacies of Glory.

So as soon as your list hits 1000 points you can pick a single vehicle to start loading Legacies onto. Minding specific legacy restrictions.

You're allowed as many LoGs as you have points for, you're limited to the number of Vehicles with them, and you can't have duplicates.
