Anything specific? Reaper is normally a good place for generic fantasy.

Dark Sword has tons of them... very nicely sculpted. My only gripe with their miniatures are the attached pewter base; so if you are doing your own bases/theme you'll have to cut them off without damaging the feet.

You can search their site by many different factors including gender and Armour type! ...http://www.darkswordminiatures.com/shop/index.php/catalogsearch/advanced/result/?sculptor=&gender=Female&race=&anthro_animal_race=&general_class=&primary_weapon=&armor_type=Platemail&material=&sku=&category=

Women in plate armor look the same as men in plate armor. You could use female heads on male bodies, or sculpt some greenstuff hair coming out the back of a helmet.

Now if you want women in FANTASY plate armor, with big jutting boobplates, missing armor on the thigh and belly, chainmail thongs, that kinda thing, then Reaper's gonna be your weapon of choice.

I should have been more specific but yes, fantasy plate. I realize that they would look the same much when fully kitted out but I'd just like a visual difference on the table. I don't need giant boobs and bare midriffs but a slightly slender waist and some sleight chest curves achieves the desired effect without being crazy about it.

something like this would be ideal.

Spoiler:

I know its a tall order. I just wanted to throw the request out there in case any of you have come up with an idea.

no the wouldnt because the shape needs to fit the body, or the armour would not work properly and the would end up chafing, sheering or the armour not working at all.

I need to go to work every day.

What about converting the old Mantic plastic elves? They are very slender and not terribly masculine, and you could swap in female heads.

The difference between plate armor on a man and a woman would have been negligible. They may not have had sports bras in ye olden days, but standard plate armor had a thick protective cloth coat under it that would have smooshed boobs down just as well. Also, armor was generally not a solid shell with joints. It was multiple pieces held in place with straps, and could be adjusted to varying heights/widths. A woman unable to fit her particular shape into armor beyond the ability of straps and links to adjust to would have had some SERIOUS badonkadonk.

That said, I have nothing against boobplate, thongs, or any of that Frank Frazetta silliness in fantasy armor. It's fantasy, it's not real, and as likely as not it's just as protective because a Wizard Did It. And especially in miniatures, if you want the model to be readily apparent as female, proportions will have to be exaggerated or it won't even be visible from tabletop distance. Thus big ol' boobs and hips, larger eyes and lips, all that good stuff.

Armour is meant to distribute the weight of the hit. If they had a flat surface over their breasts, When hit on the chest all the damage would go straight to them and not spread out evenly over the whole chest/bones. You may think breast plates look stupid but if hit on the breast plate dead on and it takes the form of the breast the blow would spread across the whole armour unless it dented that area exactly.

I played hockey and football and if you wear a cup that does not go AROUND your private and just a flat piece of metal with cloth under it... well you will be making no kids tonight.

If the closest you've come to plate armor is a jockstrap, I'm going to suggest that maybe you don't have the necessary background knowledge to back those confident sounding statements of yours.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Armour is also supposed to deflect an incoming shot whether ballistic or melee. Exaggerated breasts on breatplates will guideincoming shots right into vital areas.

Must EVERY SINGLE THREAD about females and armor devolve into a debate about the faults and Merritts of figure fitting armor or "boob plate"?

Seriously the guy just wanted a source for a miniature, not a list of reasons why it's wrong or right for it to Look like that.

Yes. It's the law. It's up there, right behind "Two men enter, one man leaves" and "Bust a deal, face the wheel".

Just use empire greatswords with head swaps and/or legs swaps.

That's a cool idea intercessor, thanks.
Those perry knights are really cool too. Any idea how well they match up size wise?
