The note was regarding "intentionally inflammatory titles / OPs" - so not just the title, but the original post, as well.
Regarding inflammatory titles, the reason this can be an issue is we often get titles in the
40K section like "Why are Tau the most broken codex ever?" or the like. If someone instead posted a title like "Discussion of the power level of the Tau codex", it would generate discussion on the same topic, but with much less flame-baiting.
Regarding the
OP, in that particular thread, there were things like this:
this is a thread for all those gamers who care for value over quality.
So, that right there sets the precedent: this isn't just a thread for discussing ways to make awesome terrain from cheap items... it's for those who only care about value, rather than quality. So it takes what could be a very useful discussion, and casts it in a very negative light.
