I don't recall seeing many Atalantes stuff 'in the resin', as it were, yet!

Mierce can have more of my money (and I love their product so much that is a promise) when they deliver some of the models I pledged for several years ago.

Don't get me wrong, I know they will be great. But at this stage I mean my kid who was born when the KS I'm waiting on was live is now walking and talking (kind of)

What you missing? As they've mentioned, drop them a line. Most likely you're missing one of the required shipping purchases which should see your stuff dispatched...

I'm more interested in seeing the human infantry now!

Also, yes Taaloc, please make sure to e-mail Mierce/Rob directly - they are VERY helpful in fixing issues/straightening things out/getting shipments moving in case shipping waves weren't paid for/etc.!

I'd guess its new kindreds stuff? I'm basically in the same boat waiting for some alts to be sculpted (armored Scecchus/Hrokr, melisune alts, archer Sthena, etc). I paid for split shipping and have pretty much everything else from my massive order though. A good chunk of which is still unpainted, so not like the rest would magically get done either lol.

My Atalantes have just arrived today. Stunning doesn't do them justice. Have not had a chance to take a piccie, but somebody just posted this on the comments

I think I'm going to have to punch up the basing on the Atalantes constructs. The sculpts are fine, but given they are pretty much just all bronze w some corrosion/verdigris, they might look a little basic otherwise. Good thing I also have some kthones to muster in as slaves eventually.

Brutal Alternates

After a short break in the land of the Kernowyon (that's the Cornish) I'm back with an update for the New Kindreds!

First up, here's a couple of photos of where I've been...

Let us begin!

We've stuff for the Fomoraic and the Ysians thanks to Andrew May, and a Sell-Sword from Yannick Hennebo this week!

The Srónax are one of our best units of all, mainly because they were done by Allan Carrasco... but Andrew May has stepped up to the plate for the banner bearer conversion and we're pleased to say he looks awesome!

It's been a while in coming but here's the warrior conversion - Aaqko - for the Srónax banner bearer, Qqolaan...

We did have to tone down the axe a bit though...

Aaqko will be a Wave 15 shipment.

Tthe Brutes of Hedroc, the Armoured Brute Unit, is complete! Huzzah! All thanks to the hard work of Andrew May, of course...!

A quick reprise of Armoured Gulguta, completed last time:

He looks fantastic!

Lugung was one of our very first miniatures, and his new incarnation - Armoured Lugung - looks fantastic...

The axe blade wasn't "sharp" enough for us, so we had Andrew sort that out...

We absolutely love the new head sack! Interesting fact: the bolt on the original sack shouldn't have been there - the sculptor interpreted the artwork incorrectly!

A cracker, is Armoured Uggurd!

Perhaps the best of the original brutes, Muldo looks even better as Armoured Muldo...

I wouldn't like to get hit by that hammer...

With a new mattock and a bit of armour, Nung looks great as Armoured Nung!

Yannick Hennebo has just about completed work on Sáthach on Horse, and she looks utterly brilliant!

Sáthach on Horse should be a Wave 15 shipment, we hope!

Humans and Drunes

It's Friday! It's update time, yay!

Here we go...

This week we have something for the Brythoniaid and the Fomoraic thanks to Valentin Zak, and something for the Ysians thanks to Stéphane Simon!

Valentin Zak has begun workj on the adorable Nerys, and whilst we've requested a bit more chub, she's definitely getting there!

She should be a Wave 15 shipment...

Oooohhh... Hunter Kaarstan looks a bit forceful...

He should be a Wave 15 shipment, we hope.

We can't wait for Maari. Neither can you lot, we suspect...

Again, she should be a Wave 15 shipment!

Stéphane Simon has completed work on Kerazek, and he looks great! Warlord-level sorcerer for the Ysians? Yes please!

Sáthach is either really small, or her horse is really big?

This happens form time to time with Mierce's mounted models. Uhtred on horse being one that comes to mind.

The one on foot feels relatively petite compared to other infantry models, so at least a bit is her being small.

Going by the look of Sathach she's a conversion on the on foot model,

so it's probably the case that the horse is large

Just a quick note that I pinged these guys for an order and had it taken care of (from Pacific time zone) in less than an hour from clicking to shipping update. Love Mierce.

One of the key things to keep in mind here, I think, is that IF your order included the metal version of any miniatures, that usually means a bit of a delay from when you think something will be/should be shipping.

I think.

At least, that's been my experience!

Also, can someone please post a picture of some Atlantean Oplites infantry already?!?

They were set to 'Packing' for me, for the longest time, and then when my order got sent out, they didn't go with it, and slipped back a wave? I think I may have asked Rob to give me them in metal, but I've totally forgotten if I did. Either way, they're back to 'processing' now.

The metals do seem to take quite a bit longer though. I assumed it would only be a few months, but it seems like longer for some. I love getting the in progress pictures of the models being sculpted, but it would be nice to see pictures of the initial casts of figures too. We hadn't seen most of the atlantes until about a month ago. I still haven't seen an actual model of Kyros, or Thera, and they're on there way to me right now.

@Skullking - the reason you don't see photos of the casts straight away is really simple... we're all terrible photographers of infantry/small stuff in general, and it ends up looking awful!

Before I bother Mierce with this (unless they're still lurking the thread.) Has anyone got Cqaa in hand yet?

He seems due to go out on gen release but my KS based order for him is still processing, I've remembered to add shipping, so unless I've selected the wrong option on that, I think it seems to be in order.

He arrived in my most recent package which was only about 10-14 days ago so depending on when your ordered him I can easily see him being still in processing for some people

(I'm pretty sure it was the same day the PM opened for the appropriate KS)
