Wow! A FRESH Vik Thread! see. I told you that you were the celeb! I think Tau-themed stuff is right in your wheelhouse Vik. Your imagination is great with round shapes and lines. You have to invent Tau Rivets though. Maybe just die-cut shapes you glue on in layers?
The Storage containers are amazing. They can get boring to paint, but they make great gaming scatter and photo backdrop bitz

and i followed my insticts....to what end you may ask?
well....let the pics do the talking here...
everything you here see was made firstly from pine wood sticks...the construction is really sturdy...
after this much further work went in the build and i added a wire fence by using sewing thread, match sticks and later on cardboard and of course rivets...and a brass angle too....also...since the comp requires something to make it sound^^ i got me a small and cheapo chip and micro setup that allows to record and play ten seconds worth of "noise"...
and this is where everything is atm...:still unpainted but riveted...:
also...this is an aquilla made by Camkierhi....excellent work and it helped me for ages...all my own eandeavors to fabricate something like that looked way too feeble...:facepalm....thanks agaiin Cam!!!
by now you probably guessed it right....it is a dice tower....^^

one of the works i´ve done that inlcuded the heaviest use of swear words throughout as the thread always slipped where it should have stayed...even though i glued the start and then some inbetween stages points to the matchsticks......but many thanks matey^^

thanks neveon, thing is it can play anything up to ten seconds of time...it has two buttons...under the "vents" one for record and one for play...

we all know i have the attention span of a concussed kitten when it comes to seeing through a project....
i have around four or five worthy armies of imps...
then the tau xenos force i recently started...
two worthy forces of space marines...(can always cobbled together in one giant force...)
a quite big amount of green skins...enough to make an only grot force and a standard template force of orks...
and now...what could be the next shiny diversion from my not so clear path?

well....it is ssupposed to be sisters...
always faniced a female faction for our table (what table do yooou ask...well more to that still later on in this very post... )
sisters....of...er...(currently not done with the title^^)
but we have some footage of some tests...of kitbashhes that i need your expert opinions...
behold:
first a mix of bretonian body, skitarii hed and dark eldar secoond edition arms...
then a mostly second edition DE body and arms mixed with a skitarii helmet and marine flamer...and backpack of skitarii
second try of DE second edition body...where the first try was a female body...this oone is a male body but i used a bretonian fleur de lils to suggest boobs...what do you think? its still (h-)armless^^
and then i made the next one out of kabalite warrior bits and skitarii bits...what do you think?
i soon will be getting some harpy bits and will be making more trys...we´ll see how these then will work out...i also own the odd twenty something second edition DE warriors...i want to use...all comments will be apreciated...GS work is soon planned for the lot of them...after all some addition of cloth is need on the lot of them...!
also...thiis abomination i´ve built with corn foam with the kids...:
and i made this statue for an upcoming city scape table i am also secretly working on...:
speaking of the tale i mentioned earlier...:
we used four different sized storage racks of IKEA Trofast...lots of storage for lego and other stuff...
then we built it up with a giant wooden board...
and some scale shots of the finished table...
(zoom in....that´s my biggest tank on top of it...^^)
and it also has a day to day use as a play table for the kids...as its residenz is the kids room...^^
also...the measurements of the table are : 1,86m to 1,64m... fething big i have to say so myself^^

The sisters look good Vik, I'm not too sure about the hooded head though. Something doesn't seem to fit with the body robes...or maybe I just can't see the robes on the legs....
Orky dice tower needs Teef, Dakka, and needs to be painted red on the inside, to help the dice go Fasta.
Orks believe they will roll 6s when using it, so they naturally do roll 6s every time
Foam marine looks fun

Well, at least I'm not judging this round. Without much of a base (and therefore ground) there is limited places to add plants.
Look for cracks in the "wood", concrete, and/or brick and mortar structures and stick a small tuft of grass sticking out. Anywhere that gets little wear or footfalls to damage the young plant.
Sisters of Doom are looking promising.
Fun foam man.
Good start to the statue.
And great table.

explanation to the build and paint job...
well...mostly built from wood and cardboard, the walls should look like concrete, painted then aged beyond recognition...for strengthening the build it was fastened with steel bands.
the wire of the barbed wire was made from simple sewing thread...which more and more looked like barbed wire because it frizzed out due to the priming and painting process
this is a mostly airbrush paint job, as i recently got a compressor and i try to learn now how to cope with new tech^^...also...for the "grafitti" name tags on the walls i used acrylic pens...!!! highly recommendebale to add to everyones paint box!...
well...that´s that...
oh and since this is a competition about sounding terrain pieces...i made a video...uploaded it to you tube...here it is:
