Have the stats for the Captain been leaked yet? It seems like we should have seen something by now.

Someone has this model by now. Anyone care to share his rules?

Kinda crazy we haven't seen rules yet. Typically 4chan or B&C are all over this.

I've got mine. The way it was sold is weird AF. It's $25 Can + tax on it's own but I needed a box of Renegade so it was "free".
I got into the store about 15 minutes after the opening and although the staff were wearing "100th store" t-shirts the were no line-ups. When I asked the sales clerk about the miniature, he said they still have it but had to go to the storage closet to get it for me. After I bought my things he took down my name I guess for the number of miniatures handed out/sold and although there were about 11-12 people in the store on that list my name was number five. All this makes me think that they are not too keen on selling out too quickly or they want to keep them for themselves. I also got a free pin in a shape of double-headed eagle with a number 100 in the center.

I got mine and posted the rules in 40k Rules questions. I am disappointed because its fine cast and the rules don't seem complete. I don't even know how you can take him in game because he doesn't have any points listed or rules on how to actually take him.

Thanks for posting the rules. Agreed that he is incomplete. No points is very weird.

5250 pts
3850 pts
Deathwatch: 1500 pts
Imperial Knights: 375 pts
30K 2500 pts

Looks like it's going to be a free replacement to a normal captain that gives you a free powerfist and an additional use of ultramarine tactical doctrine a game.

I could see a lot of people not being okay with him getting a free power fist and I don't see the rules saying that. I don't see why they only limited it to only ultramarines, it easily could have been a genric captain any matine army could use.

I'm not saying people will be ok with it but that is exactly what they did with the last special character. The imperial space marine replaced any marine and gave them a free combi gun with unlimited shots with instadeath at str5 ap2.

He should have been $20cdn. I paid that for mine. Very nice model.

Rules will be used like Age of Sigmar but the 40K edition.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Auticus wrote: Or in summation: its ok to exploit shoddy points because those are rules and gamers exist to find rules loopholes (they are still "legal"), but if the same force can be composed without structure, it emotionally feels "wrong".
