The axe is genius.

The OCD part of my brain is objecting to the teeth being the 'wrong' way up... I almost want to buy one just to try out an idea to flip them over... but it's still a fantastic idea.

Didn't even think about the axe teeth till you mentioned it.

Originally I was gonna use two large circular sawblades above and below spinning in towards the center to make the "blade" but no matter how cleanly I tried to cut it, it looked way too orky.

Are those legs altered? It seems like you've added an extra joint like I did to mine. Maybe I'm just imagining things.
