Xardu Laydak is done!

Did you true scale Xardu and his boys too, or were they beefy enough already? Forge World did a cracking job on those minis!

I think X scaled up Xardu, but not the Blade Slaves. They are incredible models.

just a little update today. My white scars tests are pretty much done.

I'm aware of my limitations as a painter, and I'm really pleased with these.

These guys look very imposing. Doing the True scale is definitely worth the extra effort. I think weathering white can be tricky — you don't want them to just look grey — but you've got the balance just right, great job!

The Scars look dead cool to me, perfect take on a Legion that doesn't seem to get nearly enough screen time!

This is such an amazing thread. I love the variety of legions and work that comes up with a multiperson blog. I also have to say that I was never a fan of true-scale marines, but you have done quite an amazing job on these. So good, in fact, that I am going to do it for my 30k RG. It just makes the models look right.

As the weekend approaches, many have been adding final touches to their tanks!

It has been a while since I've posted since I've been working on an unrelated commission

Started my Dracosan for my Solar Aux allies. Something to carry around those flamers in.

Airbrushed on three shades of grey, and started the metallic. This is going to be sweet.

Oh! And here are some pics of a game I had with X over the weekend! :-)
