I'm considering the following list for a 1000 point mini campaign. Expecting to face Orks, Tyranids, Imperial Guard, and Space Marines at my local gaming club. What do you think?

Warpsmith would be too slow to keep up with them though, and nearly costs as much as a 'Fiend.

I'd stick with the list as-is. The Sorc's rolling on Biomancy (basically anything except Haemorrhage), Malefic or Telepathy (Shrouding or Invisibility) turns the two Spawn units into fast threats. Absolute lack of ranged or anti-air presents a problem, but you'll just have to race forward and ignore flyers.

Would agree with this. Unless there are a lot of flyers these shouldn't be too much of a problem. However, if you're against a gunline (Imperial Guard) army that gets first turn you could be toast before you've had a chance to do anything. Put something a bit tougher in there or hope for cover. Most of the armies stated could pose you a problem in this way.
