As I routinely find myself extremely bored I decided to create a thread where people can post what additions they would make to Age of Sigmar that range from the totally absurd to rather mundane.
You know what would be awesome? As it has been pretty much confirmed that centigors operate alone, not within Brayherd or Warherd tribes, there should be a new faction, Centigor Khans. They should be composed of mostly of light skirmishers, archers, and lancer all being led by the great Khan himself, Ghorros Warhoof. Although being created on Ghur they are nomadic so they regularly travel through the realm gates terrifying unprotected villages and forcing them to provide tribute for the great Khan.
Army wide special rules:
Drunken: Same as on Centigor Warscroll
Terror of the Great Khanate: Any enemy unit within 15 inches of a unit with the 'Khanate' keyword suffers -1 Bravery, -2 if the unit is within 15 inches of the army's leader (These DO NOT stack).
Key abilities:
Gaze of the Great Khan: (On the army's general) The closest enemy unit to a unit with the Khan key work must take a battle shock test with two dice, the unit takes a mortal wound by how much the test is failed by as the horde takes advantage of their cowardice to loose the perfect shot.
Perfect Aim: Instead of volley firing multiple shots, the unit focuses, each model firing a single shot that deals a mortal wound each (may seem a tad broken, but in reality would be the only way to deal with high armor values).
Units:
Leaders:
Great Khan Ghorros
Centigor Khan
Centigor Shaman (Their spell caster)
Battle line:
Centigor archers/javelins
Centigors
Other (I don't exactly know the matched play slots):
Slaves (poor souls who have either been payed as tribute or enslaved by the Khanate, can be any unit with the keyword 'Mortal', but they suffer from the Terror of the Great Khanate despite not being enemies)

Like the idea of centigors as a faction, similar to gargants or thunderscorn i guess. 2 changes i would make though; could drunken be an option, as i stopped collecting a giant army as they are now ALL 'aleguzzler gargants,' making a serious theme impossible; and 2) could there be a more original name for leaders other than Khans? That has been done to death.
Like the small factions in AOS though, are there any good alternative centigor models than GW for some variety?

There is actually a non-drunken Gargant, which... I believe is in the legacy Chaos army? You might want to take a look as I do think I recall seeing one.

Well, I would like it if people could make "custom" heroes. Even limit it to 1 per game if you have to. But in AOS I feel that hero loadouts are very restrictive in what you can do. And with the addition of points, this could be a great excuse to do so.
Despite not being that young, I have a mild obsession with a game series called Fire Emblem. So, when AOS came along I thought that I could lead my army with one of the various Lords from the series (with the aptly converted model of course). However, I found it very hard to replicate some of the skills the characters had in AOS. Makes sense because they are different series, but still. That's why hero creation could be really great, I mean you can do it in 40k, so why not AOS?

That would be might interesting to see but I suspect the GW may fuse certain groups together to make books. Like they dead to beasts of the grave and flesh eaters.
Of course GW did add back beasts of the grave for those who want to use that version.

I hope to Khorne almighty they add it back, but still, sub-denominations are still possible. Ex. All above mentioned Centigor units are in brayherd category, you can use them in the alligence of Brayherd, or if you only use Centigors, use the Khan's allegiance.
And to answer the guy who commented below me, I only used Khan to portray how they would look, seeing as GW is scrapping historical equivalent armies they would never add a mongol army. Drunken could be an optional upgrade, simply give them 7 bravery if they don't have it, to make being drunk a risk reward situation.

Raging Ravener
|
rending pony:
2 wounds , 3+ armor save move 9
Unicorn magical barrier: Rending pony is immune to rending.
Horn of rainbows: range *, 1 attack, 3+ to hit, wound * ,damage *
The range of horn of rainbow is equal to the distance from the furthest unit on the table from the rending pony. Do not roll to wound for a horn of rainbow attack, instead slay the units affected by the attack outright. If a unit dies in this manner during your shooting phase, Rending pony may use this attack again and so on until the attack fails to slay a unit.
Lucky unicorn: Rending pony treats all rolls of 1 or 2 as a 6.

I would add in the I Move, you move, I shoot, you shoot then we all assault. Lord of the Rings rules I think would work really work well for AoS. I still can never understand that I do everything then you do everything except remove miniatures.
Also if you hit someone, you kill them outright unless they do their armour save. After all do we really need to find someone just stubbed their toe especially when we are playing larger battles. I think all the units are hitting enough that if you hit, you have a killing blow.
Or are we only talking about units and not game mechanics?

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.
Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?
