I'll probably get some tanks and aircraft as add ons. The tanks and the Kraken jet from CAV 1 came out really well.

Some neat vehicles in there and certainly a bargain. I'm drowning in 10mm sci-fi mecha/etc so I think I'll wait and maybe pick up a few choice pieces when it appears at retail.

By the way, the first Wave of Bones CAV stuff just appeared on the Reaper webstore.

A bit of an update:

New Shipping Options for Non-US Backers!

As many of you know Reaper Miniatures is helping with this project, especially with the logistical side of getting in the figures and the final fulfillment phase. As a result we get to take advantage the new shipping hubs they have established in the UK and Australia!

Soooo...

We are excited to announce that we will now be shipping all EU pledges from our UK hub. At this time the Pledge Manager will estimate your shipping charge with actual shipping charges being determined before you finalize your pledge for shipment. Should the final charge exceed the estimated amount, you will be given the opportunity to cancel your pledge and receive a full refund. Shipment to backers inside the UK will be charged the required VAT. Backers in other EU countries (outside the UK) are responsible for paying any additional local charges and their appropriate VAT (if any).

In addition, we will also be shipping all Oceania-based pledges from our Australian hub. At this time the Pledge Manager will estimate your shipping charge with actual shipping charges being determined before you finalize your pledge for shipment. Should the final charge exceed the estimated amount, you will be given the opportunity to cancel your pledge and receive a full refund. Backers in Oceania-based countries will be responsible for paying any additional local charges and their appropriate VAT (if any).

Shipping remains free in the US and Canada. Due to Kickstarter rules we cannot change the shipping info as it appears in the Pledge Options. We have updated the Pledge Manager to reflect this great news!

300 Backers! Thank You! CAVCON 2016!

Thank you all for getting us to 300 backers! In recognition of that support I have added an additional x2 Ogres & x2 Rhinos to the Core Force Reward bring your total model count to 52 models!

Next up I wanted to let everyone know I have changed out the model for the $38k Option Reward and replaced it with the Adon Chancellor CAV to help fire everyone up as we push through these lower levels and start adding more models to your Core Force Reward!

BUT WAIT...

To celebrate the upcoming CAVCon 2016 (www.cav-con.com) next weekend I'm adding another special to the Core Force Reward! The Almirithil Principality has patiently waited for it's chance and today here they come! I have added 4 new models belonging to CAV: SO's newest faction to the Core Force Reward for FREE with x4 copies of each. This will bring the model count of the Core Force Reward up to 68 MODELS! Thats six more models than the entire Core Force at the end of the first Kickstarter project!

With two attack, one fire support, and one recon model your options for building a Force Group with the game's newest faction has many variations right out the gate! I hope you enjoy using these models as much as we did designing them!

The concussion looks like it would make a nice drone for 28mm games. Actually, most of the CAV walkers look like they'd be better served cut in half at the waist to me, with the upper halves as some sort of space or anti grav gunships and the legs used to make ED 209's.

The pledge levels do nothing for me, though, so I will wait for retail. Reaper is trying too hard to make the CAV game happen. It's not going to happen.

It's up to 70 models for the $100 pledge. I'm probably going to wind up pledging it, especially since I won't be at GenCon. I still haven't painted my previous ones, but giant stompy robots actually paint fairly quickly, once I get around to it.

Showed the models off to some friends at the FLGS - they were interested in the game, thanks to the freebies given out at AdeptiCon. Hoping to get in a game by the end of the month, and use all that N-scale terrain I boxed away a few years ago.

My official faction choice is "All of the above"

I'm in much the same boat. The number of mecha you get for the money is just too good to pass up, even though I've only painted a cople of CAV miniatures fron the first KS so far.

This KS is really coming along, but I'm really not impressed by the Lion and Commander Grav tanks. A bit more work needs to be done to the edges to make them look like more than a tank who's treads and wheels have fallen off.

I agree on the Lion AG. I think the Commander is fine, just not the best angle to show it IMO.

Are you guys going to be removing the older metal models, or will those still be sold along with the new plastics?
