Put it onto an arm of one or two of those Talo's powered armor suits and you got more fire power than entire squad of riflemen. Or at the very least an IRL version of tactical dreadnaught armor.

So. A minigun that requires an extension cord plugged into a wall socket to work. That'll be real useful running around the jungles of South America hunting Predators.

On an almost related note, I was driving through north texas Saturday, and I was keeping my eye out for a vehicle with micro-guns attached to it, and a weiner dog on the dash selecting targets.
